How many units for 2026's HoF event?

As title suggests. I'm at the KP selector, have 6k units left. Not sure if I should invest rn in banquet or wait for next year's HoF style event. Anyone know the unit count for the minimum guaranteed 7* rewards given its the same as this year's? (e.g. there were 2 7* crystals in the solo obj last year, then the 3rd or a selector was like 8k units away. wna know how much that was, thank you!

There was an event called Hearts of Fire earlier this year that had a similar "6 champions in a box that you need keys to open" system as now during the Banquet. Those champions were some of the best in the game, but you could only get them if you spent a ton of units. They haven't been available until now, during the Banquet, maybe nine or so months later.

To answer OP's question: you could always hold on to your units for now and see how the Realm event progresses. As time goes by, more and more milestones will be added. Eventually you'll be able to see what you'll be guaranteed to be able to pick up with the units you have left, if you chose to use them during the event. Then you can make a more informed decision than you can right now, without knowing what you get.

What I will say is that there is a Deathless champ selector among the Realm rewards. If you have any thoughts about hunting for Deathless Thanos (which requires you to collect all four other Deathless champions beforehand - all of which are insanely expensive), then you won't get a better deal on one of them than going for that selector. In order to collect the other Deathless champions, you normally have to collect five pieces of them and trade them in for the champion. The thing is, those pieces cost something like 5K unit per piece, so it's a massive unit sink. Being able to pick up a whole champion by putting in just a few thousand units into the Banquet would be a lot cheaper than going after the individual pieces.

But that's only relevant if you're going after Thanos. He's a great champion, but if you don't have any of the other Deathless champion, then it will be a very long and expensive road to getting him even if you pick up one of them now "for cheap".

i agree with your points except the HoF explanation: iirc, there wasnt a box system it was all just crystals, and they r available in this banquet as the 4% drop from jubilants which i havent gotten much luck in. My most wanted is Fant so maybe if they add a selector to the milestones I may consider going all in. Thanks for the advice though, think it's probably wise to wait and make a better informed decision. Cheers!

If your most wanted is FAM then this selector may be your last shot for a little while. Any HoF style event will be a different group of champions next round.

It's basically an event where they add champs that are currently available only as 6*, as 7*. The thing is tho, every year, the champs in the pool get better and better.

If you're not a big arena grinder save them because next year's HoF is basically almost guaranteed to have Kate CGR and either Kitty or AA, Ghost and Doom will be probably be in it too tho they're a bit mid these days. The other three however are going to have a pretty big impact on the meta.

Yes, some of these Banquet rewards are crazy, there's no denying that but if you're on a budget due to being a f2p non arena grinding player then you should just reach the Abs/KP milestone and call it a day. 6k units are not going to get you into the top 2%-3% when you barely have 25k points so far so your chances of getting FAM are slim to none, you would need to drop around $400-$600 in the current deals to maybe make it that far.

You think an arena grinder F2P could get to the 2026 HOF selector? Because as of now I'm ahead of the realm event milestones so might as well save if it's doable ( I max the 6* arena but not enough time for the summoner's trial ).

Idk man. They could just buff some mid skill champ and gatekeep kate, they definitely going to keep doom for Doomsday release, all new buffs are underwhelming, kate is the only one will literally go insane even today if released as 7*. She is going to be the last champ to get released as 7*.

Try to go for deathless piece if it is possible, milestones ahead of her are not that crazy. Deathless she hulk is herself a great champ and in future if you ever decide to go for deathless thanos chase than a free piece will help a lot.

That would kill the entire concept, Omega Days and HoF have one thing in common that so far has remained consistent and that is releasing strong(ish) 6* locked champs as 7*. That is the sole purpose of these events, and changing the dynamic completely would simply ruin the concept, they could buff a science champ or introduce a completely new science champ like how they did with Dark Phoenix since there are no 6* god tier science champs left but creating a pool full of buffed champs for this event in particular simply wouldn't make sense because that would not align with previous iterations of this event. Yes I know Kate is ridiculously strong still but with Hulkling and Scorpion in the game as 7* now, there is no such thing as "too broken to be a 7*" unless we're talking strictly about the big three which we already know for a fact will remain locked until they're fully reworked.

As for the Doom comment, you forgot we're getting Stellar Forget Doom? Lol they could very easily release regular Doom literally tomorrow and still have one ready for Doomsday.

There might no be another heart of fire next year since there are very few top tier champs that are just 6 stars and kabam will distribute them at other events.

The most likely since ascension will launch in Spring , the next HOF will focus in 7* ascension materials / crystals that contains all the 30 ascendable champs.

It means heart of fire, it’s basically a sale that happened earlier this year where nick fury, future ant man, tigra, ibomb, and apocalypse were added as 7*. Can’t forget about infamous thousand dollar trophy champ that was dark phoenix.

Kabam got a lot of negative feedback after the Dark Phoenix and Torch sales, and they've changed the structure of every subsequent sale since then.

So I don't think we'll see another event like those again where they put a broken champ as the last milestone of an event requiring 30k+ units to acheive.
