Nick Fury Vs. Mr. Knight... Who gets these R4 materials?

I know 7* Nick is not as relevant as he use to be. But I been holding an awakening gem, and other resources for him. Got him from that banquet milestone selector and was about to pull the trigger. Then I got Mr. Knight from a Titan. Been hearing good stuff about him and seen some game play and now I'm torn. New meta champ Vs. Old reliable champ. I know Nick has a plethora of counters now but he still puts in work. Mr. Knight seems viable but could see a nerf if Kabam sees fit. I know I know.. "Rank who you like!" "New meta champs are the best champs!" I get all that but.. What would you do? (in my best John Quiñones voice)

I got Nick from the selector too and give him r4 and sig 200. IMO Nick is better.

Nick Fury, no contest. He's incredibly consistent, solid defender + attacker and will stay relevant for a long time

Nick is definitely better.

But I have the philosophy that if you have them at 6-star R5/65 ascended, might as well add more utility to your roster.

This is how I feel as well but that sleep mechanic and the insane crit rate of those light hits with the boost from that buff for Mr. Knight are really tempting lol.. And the 3 parrys to get debuff immune is nuts! I love Nick but sheesh.. That's some good utility to pass up..

Nick isn't really a nuke. He is a consistent attacker with bonuses for having his charges up and most importantly a second life that makes him even more lethal

Mr. Knight is more consistent than Mid Fury. Mr. Knight is a guaranteed 55-60 second fight. Mid Fury is defense fodder

Nick fury is great he's a somewhat dual threat. Sadly I think as far as damage goes he's simply doesn't measure up. His utility is meh. I'm also running Cass Nova in my deck and quite a few people I bump into are as well. So he's not that great of a defender anymore.

Mr. Knight is a great attacker but had zero defensive value. Choose who you want. FYI I'm incredibly biased,

Also do you happen to have the Monkey? He's a better attacker then both of them, who needs utility with a 100k 5 hit combo?

I'm not really sure if Nick is that good of a defender anymore. Everytime i put him on BG defence, he gets squash easily 😞

What could you possibly know about defense? You don’t even play BGs and you have trouble fighting Howard the Duck 💀🥀

Mr. Knight to my knowledge has not been meta and I’m currently sitting in M1, Nick on the other hand is still in 90% of the decks up here simply because of the stalling potential, if they don’t have high sig DPX or Cassandra it’s usually a long fight kinda like with Thanos. Sure Mr. Knight is decent for Photon Spider Woman Rhino and Evo but with Valk Okoye CB Shang Mantis and KP in the game I just don’t see a reason to be running this dude when all the ones I mentioned handle stuff even outside of the science class. He’s good but unless you’re a low level Valiant with a limited roster, no reason to be prioritizing this dude over Nick.

Go Future Ant Man.. He takes precedent over Nick because of his duel threat in BGs and reliability in most content.

Use the Awakening Gem on Nick (no further sigs needed), but Mr. Knight is absolutely worth the R4 rank up. He destroys Nefaria in the new Coliseum, as his ramped up Light Proficiency hits do big yellow damage numbers. He’s a straight counter to Photon, and his synergy with Moon Knight makes both champs better.
