I love Ironheart - she's great and my most-used Tech champ. She and Jack cover very similar territory; and to be honest Ironheart is better pretty much everywhere except BGs, where Jack's speed makes him quite a bit better. If you're planning to try and go far in BGs, then Jack is the smarter choice.

But something to consider is the likelihood of Awakening your champ naturally. You could Awaken Jack/IH from any basic crystal. But, it's not going to happen at all for Solvarch within the next year, maybe longer. So if you like playing him, and you value the Awakened ability to manage Unblockable attacks, then consider using it on him.

Thanks for the insight! Yeah, that was exactly what I was thinking. There is no way for me to awaken Solvarch right now, but I can the other two. And Solvarch is a good defender as well. I think Im leaning more towards Solvarch. I can dupe Jack and Ironheart from the basic

Solvarch he's rare as well so your not naturally duping him any time soon

I’ve seen multiple posts suggesting that Solvarch may be worse awakened. While being able to avoid the unblockable/crush effect can be nice, he loses armors in doing so which can mess up his rotation.

I just used a 7* tech gem on Ironheart vs. him (and Zola) if that helps at all.
