If your a spender in this game, there is a fabulous one two combo right now.

I'm sure most of you are aware that you can get Kitty Pryde in the double track event. Kitty has been one of my favorite characters since the 90's and one of my all time (if not all time) favorite MCoC characters, so I was stoked when she was available. For the first time, I bought the progression boosters to get her day one and after I popped my unit crystals (the Deadpool ones) I had roughly 2,500 units (I'm not sure if this is good luck but I think its reasonable to assume most people will get nearish to this number).

In the "Tooth and Claw" tab in game, there is a 7 star awakening gem that works for her for 2,500 units. You can wait to get her over the next few months of course or use your gems if you have one, but if you don't have one, that was probably the most satisfying hundred bucks I've ever spent in this game (7 star Kitty Pryde + Awakening Gem+all the random stuff if the track event).

Just something to consider.

p.s. You can also put all those saga sig stones you get form Solo Colosseum into her aswell.

I was very surpised to see a 2500 unit 7* awakening gem yesterday. I nearly bought it for stealth spidey since he has the saga symbol on his pfp, until I filtered by the actual "dinosaur" and "meteor" tags and realized it's a visual bug. (This needs fixed by the way, I was very very close to buying it)

But yeah that's actually a really great value if there's a certain class you can't seem to pull.

Thanks for the heads up on this @Dr. Crab . Given that these deals often aren’t very good I had barely skimmed them and completely missed the AG. Agree that one is a good deal depending on your awakening targets. While I have a Mutant AG for Kitty, there are some other non pool champions I can use that one on.

Update on this - do a careful assessment before potentially buying. I initially assumed that all the saga champs were dinosaur or meteor, but that is not the case. Several saga champs (Solvarch, Zola, Lumatrix) don’t have those tags and as such are not targets for the Gem. (Glad I checked again before buying it since those were the champs I was potentially looking to awaken).

So, the OP’s point is still completely valid - it is absolutely usable for Kitty so a good option if you don’t already have a mutant AG. May also be worth buying for Stellar Forged Starlord if we don’t end up with a way to awaken him naturally like with the deathless champs. But otherwise - check first to ensure the limited pool works for you before buying.

Hundred bucks? I feel like after Banquet most of us would have a couple awakening gems laying around - maybe mutant, maybe generic, and if we don't, the rate at which we're getting AG materials is increasing exponentially so you would probably be able to awaken her naturally soon.

I’m not far behind as I had 2 tech gems from 3 awakening gem crystals. Not complaining as I have a few tech champs I can apply the gem. Good shout out on the offer.

This is interesting.

Spider Man Pavitr is a #meteor champ making the AG available to awaken him. As he is an event exclusive champ its going to be a while till i can dupe him and i havent got any mytic 7*ags till date. It keeps eluding me.

Cant make up my mins whether 2500 units is worth it to awaken him. Any advice? He definitely needs the awakening to counter a lot of defenders.

I have a Ranked 4 and sig 50(ish).

Easy yes for me at least. If you do battlegrounds and you have Nico, you’re kind of really putting yourself in a good spot with all of those brutal cosmic defenders if you have both of them. I have yet I think to have somebody banned both of them and allow my **** defenders to run a mock.
