Anyone else got a jubilant from their sbcs and found a key in it? The thing is that now that i got it, i can’t use it because they removed the box.

I believe they turn remaining keys into 7* shards at some point. So at the very least, you won't have a key sitting there forever. But in reality, the box should've continued for the duration of the AW event.

Now that you mention above, I do recall “something” about some item turning to shards if left unused, but don't recall if this was that case. If so, that would be good. Else, Kabam should revisit it and at least do such a thing.

Would NOT be appropriate to just create a new crystal with those 6 Founders Key Box champs in it, and give that as Compensation, as that would negate any prior 6-champ Founders BOX pulls they had already pulled and had left.

(as in, if someone know, or would take advantage of if done again, they had already pulled the desired champs from Box, so only say JaneThor and X-23 were left, they could just NOT use any additional keys, let the full 6-champ crystal be given to them afterwards, and maybe get Dup'd of Scorpion/Hulkling) so not that way.

But at least some amount of normal Shards or such.

As to WHY people were still just earning more SBC's (or just forgetfulness and never opened everything they had before Event ended), the AW Big Things Milestones were easily reachable before Banquet end for those in 3-BG alliances. Probably didn’t realize that smaller alliances may not reach those later Milestones for SBC's until after Banquet and Founder's Key usage was over.

So the keys will be converted into 5k 7 star shards (in fact if you had it yesterday we ran the first round of conversions then). We will run another conversion round in the future, don't have a date for it right now but it will eventually become the 5k 7 star shards.

Is there a reason it goes from a full 7* champ to a third of one? I'm just curious what the thought behind that decision was. It doesn't effect me at all. I have no skin in the game. Just interested. Is it just because the event was long enough to use it in the given time and to deter hoarding of the keys for potentially different reward later thing? Sorry just curious.

Hello, First off, I love this game and you guys are all great. Second, even though this particular "bug" didn't affect me, I still came here to comment that the proper remedy is a 7* nexus gem, not 5k 7* shards. If this did affect me, I would feel that it was a slap in the face for an alliance not hitting a milestone quickly enough. Good thing my alliance is full of maniacs.

I guess the second best remedy would be to bring back the boxes and let people use the keys.

You could also go the bro way and treat it like compensation and make it a titan nexus or give players a selector from a bunch of other juicy stuff.

Personally I'm a fan of getting stuff, so an apology compensation package for the realm would be cool, if not a bridge too far. You guys rock!

then those who happened to pull Scorpion and Hulkling initially from theirs, would NOT open any of the rest of their Founder's Boxes, because they know they can just sit back and wait for much juicier rewards from the rest of their unused keys, Instead of pulling X-23 or JaneFoster with their next pulls.

At least they are doing 5000 Shards for people. You could have just interpreted the EVENT as being you only have 21 days to get your AW Milestones (if you want to use potential items during Banquet), even though AW Event continues for 28 day duration.

A full alliance would have easily reached those milestones in plenty of time. Same way in which people who were NOT even in any alliance still were clamoring up her for Banquet Ally Event stuff.

If you had argued for 15k shards I would've been with you, but you overshot. The replacement value of a 7* champion is a 7* champion. But at the same time, I can understand there not being an equal replacement value because keys were an unlimited resource. Players could just stockpile them instead of using them in the box, so any player could decide they don't want the guaranteed Jane or X-23, opt for a basic crystal, and then pull a meta champ.

Still should've been 15k shards, but I understand to some degree their rationale behind it only being 5k.

Huge oversight in event design, why would you have 2 related events end at different times. If they had put the same expiration date on both events people might have played 3 BGs just for this season at least.

I just think the right thing to do is to bring the box back. It really shouldn't be a tough Kabam decision. They designed the event poorly and now "lucky" but "slow" players are punished

These war guys are very low in numbers. The Key pullers are far more rarer. Won't break the integrity of the game.

It's an oversight on casual F2P players, the 5k shards were most likely designed and intended for the whales that got so many keys they were able to clear the gacha box 2x. They didn't think about the people who would take this long to clear the war milestones.

I don't even know why they got this need to connect events, what does AW even have anything to do with Banquet 🤦

As the alliance leader, I had to tell all the lazy players to claim the free 50 points by moving through the cleared path to the final node, no fight is needed, so everyone can claim all the banquet crystals within the banquet event time

That’s how lazy players are in this game, there’s no point getting banquet crystals when everything has ended and the box is removed

My Alliance leader didn't warn anyone nor did he further participate himself after the first batch.
