Elder eq needs one update

There are many minor things wrong with elder eq and most are minor some are big and the biggest of them all is the fact that I can’t heal after each fight or even after every few if they don’t wanna make it so it’s after every fight make it so it’s after every path that would make elder eq so much more enjoyable and I just spent a total of 12 revives mainly my fault of course I made a stupid mistake but the fact I make a mistake and then go to the next fight with 10% health like I already know I’m using a revive over all it’s not to bad the rewards are decent for the level of content so I’m not absolutely pressed about the 12 revs but I would’ve used my 3 at most if I could heal a few times at some point through out the quest

Pretty sure they meant that the characters are not back to 100% health after picking them from the choice node like in the rest of the story quests.

I kind of miss being able to use a team rather than this 1 to 1 stuff. You can do the 1 to 1 stuff in battlegrounds.

For a “quest”, let us use our teams.

Where exactly does OP use the revives and HP pots in the game right now? And I mean other than this EQ, there is nowhere else to use them as of right now.

Off point but there was nothing wrong with the old EQ. You could use a team and pick your level of difficulty.

No idea why they felt the need to change it into this 1v1 thing it is now. Probably input from endgame whales that don’t realize other people play the game too.

It is stoll available, its the classic version, no one is forced to do Elder. If they find elder too complex or difficult they can skip it. The rewards are just a percentage increase.

Being affected by FOMO is not a bad design or their fault.

They've already explained that the difficulty of eq is balanced around not healing between each fight. If they added free healing into the quest it would essentially make all damage that didnt instantly kill you meaningless which would thus reduce the level of skill you would need. If they added free healing in then the content would have its attack values vastly increased to the extent that one combo would kill you

The fundamental issue for me is, EQ doesn't need to be THAT hard. It takes it from a moderately challenging piece of content that is enjoyable, to something that feels like a chore each month. Not every aspect of the game needs to be "harder and harder and harder".

Did we need a new step up? Yes. It inevitably happens when Players reach a plateau. There are just too many moving goal posts in the current system for my liking.

some of us don’t have all the content done in the game I still have to finish 2 more paths of epoch so I’ve been saving revives and pots for that I still have to do necro and carinas challenges

like I said it doesn’t have to be healing after each fight just after every path, after 5 fights that’s it. yes I agree it should be somewhat challenging but it’s eq all other quests with the swap after every fight format has it and is harder. My idea would still require you to get through multiple fights without free healing
