This Coliseum having an energy cost is a joke.

Don’t expect me to spend a single Odin doing this fight. That’s not going to happen. Not with me, Kaban.
Even if it costs me an Alpha 5. After all, I don’t have enough champions to do this fight, which is already very difficult.

I died with Guardian Canada while building him up. I had two armors, one simple evade, and I still lost the armors and died to Havok’s energy burst.

A complicated fight to have an energy cost.

Energy is free, the rewards are end game level. Sure you can't do well and blame it on their greed rofl....

Coliseum has one of the best effort to reward ratios in the entire game. All you need is some patience and enough skill to get through 4-5 health bars a day. There is more than enough energy to spare

It’s just energy. Just keep doing it until you get your 80 pts. Even if you only average 2 pts per attempt it’s very doable especially for the rewards.

I suck at the game in general, with baston I was pulling like 7 to 8 bars. If you have the counter it should be way easier for you.

there are yt guides about which champs to use. This event is usually for endgames players who have played and cumulated players through time and effort (ftp myself). When I first started there were events I couldn’t do because I didn’t have the skill or roster back then. So if u haven’t been at this game for long period of time, then put your dues and come back when have the champs needed. I remremembered when the treasure island event came out a few years I was getting destroyed and were some pretty good rewards but wasn’t to get them due to roster limitations. That was then and this is now. If u don’t have the roster have patience and grow it for when there bigger events and bigger rewards.

People have complained about this before. It really isn't a joke its the best rewards in the game the energy cost is perfectly reasonable. If you're low on energy prioritise the energy u do have for this. Even if u don't have the best counters u can work around it with other champs

How? I died quickly the one time I tried using Bastion. When I dueled an R4 Havok, Bastion's armor passive didn't protect him from the plasma detonate. What am I missing?

You have to parry to get an armor buff, and then never dex, and don't go more than 6s without hitting him. You can parry the unblockable specials because of the resolute node.

It's tough though. I ended up using fantman. Considerably safer because he gets many armor ups. I maxed out at 8 bars with a 7r3 fantman.

Don't dex? Why?

I dex havoc's first 2 attack of his sp1 and try to parry his 3rd.

Also, the problem for me is trying to keep armor up. U can't stack them.

I'm using 6*r5 FAM.

Because of the buff synthesis node. When you dex, you get a precision buff, which then consumes your armor up buff to create a true strike buff. So you lose your armor up.

I've tried Fantman but I'm not proficient with him. Plus, he's only a 6* (R5, ascended, sig 200).

I've primarily done Omega Sentinel since she's a 7* but only at R1. I'm not proficient with her either.

Same Situation but my FAM is not ascended. I'm getting 1-2 each run, about 5-6 a day. It will work out but u just have to stick with it.

Some hints: I try not to push him to sp2 since I still have trouble with timing my parry. As for his sp1, first thing u have 2 do is look quickly to see if unblockable or not. If unblockable, try to dex (or parry if ur fast enough), his first 2 wave and parry his 3rd wave for armor up. To get his protection down, try to draw out his heavy attack, then retreat once and counter with ur heavy. Try to use ur sp when his protection down. Sometimes I hit into his block 2-3 times as needed to remove some debuffs on me. I notice it helps to remove some plasma charges.

Yeah, that's what I've been doing for the most part. My main problem is I'm not really proficient with Fantman. I'll ever ranked him for defense but never learned his offense, so I'm just kind of winging it. I don't know what his best rotation is.

I get that it's meant to be tough, based on the amazing rewards we're getting and that's fine! But to have a 25 energy cost each fight, when you have to use energy for all the other parts of the game is abit sucky of Kabam.
