Wondering if I made a bad decision..

I pulled a dupe on my 4* Yellowjacket and Decided to R4 him. Also R4'd my 4* mephisto.
Other options were unduped Quake, unduped green goblin, unduped Hawkeye, duped gambit.(which I hate). I decided against quake because I already have Duped Hulk and R4.
Good decision or bad decision??

    We're talking 4*s right? If 4*s yes that's a great choice. If 5* then that's great as well. The only downfall is that you 2 Science champions which is cool, but not great for class diversity.

    Yes we're talking 4*s. I guess I wanted Yellowjacket for my defense team since I just duped him

    Those appear to be reasonable choices. When we're talking about 4* champions, the game doesn't favor holding out for the best: the better strategy in general is to upgrade the good and use them to progress forward. The materials to rank up to 4/40 become far more available as you progress, so there is limited benefits to saving them up too much. Yellowjacket and Mephisto as decent 4* champs you can put to use immediately.
