Why are my AQ champs still locked in the big ol' 2026

Why? Everytime I load up for AQ I have to plan ahead what other content I want to do today. And if things go smoother than expected and I get to the next elder quest early? Sorry fucko, you used 2 science champs in AQ, come back tomorrow. This is literally a 2016 mechanic with no place in the modern game, please consider changing this. Thank you for listening to my ramble.

IIf You dont have more than 3 ranked champs to clear content while aq is on, sounds like a skill issue.

If champions lock is giving you problems, than it's working as intended.

Nah it's just stupid. Every player obviously does but the fear of putting a champ in that you might end up needing for something like Elder EQ makes you want to join AQ with 5 stars. It's just aggravating.

But at the same time, that's part of the planning and strategy aspect of the game. There's enough time in the month to break that one champ out of AQ that's needed for a quest. Still something they could and possibly should get rid of, but it's only a roadblock for players that expect everything in a game filled with timers to work around their timing.

Planning and Strategy aspects should be fun in a way right? Like deciding which champions to use for each crucible fight or alliance war. The AQ restriction is just that, restrictive. It does not give players any sense of fulfillment when they manage to plan around it, just indifference. And when they don’t manage to plan around it, frustration.

There's over 200 different champs in the game. If you cant use 3 champs for aq and still cant make enough to use for any content, including elder eq, then its a roster/skill issue.
