This type of content isn’t healthy for the game

Lagacy has been posting videos about hulkling and valk with inflammatory titles that tell viewers that valk and hulkling had “silent nerfs”. This is not healthy rhetoric, as it frustrated players and misleads them into thinking these were intentional changes by kabam to purposely reduce the value of champions after selling them.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m frustrated about these changes as well, I have valk and hulkling at r4 sig 200. However, we have had confirmation from karate mike for a while now that these changes were not intentional, and any damage decrease is a bug and definitely not a nerf. We’ve also had confirmation that they are investigating and will make necessary fixes.

There are a lot of reasons players are angry with kabam, but by intentionally misleading viewers to be angry about fake drama, it dilutes the voice of legitimate criticism.

Lol yeah I kinda did. I waited to make this post because I didn't want to get in arguments on the forums if I don't actually care. But there were so many comments on Lag's video talking about banquet as a scam and that all of these changes were intentional to harm the community. So many of those viewers have no idea it's unintentional, and Lag's is perpetuating the hate. It's especially frustrating when Lag's 100% knows it's not a nerf and decides to fuel the fire for clicks

it’s more when you look at the comments and see the level of anger and hate this video if fostering. I understand the need to increase exposure and get clicks, but the point of my post is that this strategy is unhealthy for the community

Honestly all of lagacys videos do this due to how clickbaity he always makes his titles and thumbnails. Im surprised he hasn't been told to change his stuff from kabam yet tbh. He probably is the worst offender of it in the entire ccp and I watch his stuff the least because of it.

But what makes it worse is that he makes it clear in the actual videos themselves what the issue actually is and understands it but always insists on shooting himself and the community in the foot with the initial presentation

Granted they've "been looking into it", but still have not been able to tell us whether they have determined anything to be out of line with what it should be.

I'm just waiting for the "everything is functioning as intended" to come along.

The popularity of clickbait was not the point of my comment, nor was the popularity being used to justify Lagacy making the title of the post LOL. It was highlighting the fact that you and many others are sad over a Youtube video.

I agree the anger is unnecessary because it's a Youtube video, if you don't like it, move on and don't watch it. Kabam and the forums is not going to do anything.

While I'd typically agree, this is Kabam and I won't be surprised if they take the easy road and after investigating tell us that they are functioning as intended and that they weren't functioning as expected before the 7 star release.

I’m not trying to get kabam to do anything. It's a post for discussion about what the community thinks of these types of misleading videos. I don't think it's unreasonable to want youtubers, who play a significant role in the mindset of players, to be responsible with the way they spread information. This type of title has an unhealthy impact on the community and it's important to acknowledge that

I agree with this. They is a YT MCOC CC, who will give 9 negative and 1 positive towards the game on week basic. But in their video posted but still trys to be neutral and ask the community on how we feel or whaf are oir opinions on that matter are. I watch less and less cause of the overpower of negativity this folk gives.
