Global chat permanent ban

Hello all,

I was messaging in global chat yesterday, and suddenly, was not able to chat anymore. Upon making an inquiry to Kabam Support, I discovered I was permanently chat banned? While I did spam and make some comments(that the filter ended up censoring anyways), I feel that its slightly unfair to permanently chat ban someone, and not just at least give them a warning and temporary ban for a week or longer or so. That would honestly have been more than enough for me to understand, alright, I know I did something wrong, but simultaneously, to NOT do it again ever. I chat frequently with many people in global, and would hate to lose contact with said people because of a permanent ban because of I may have spammed slightly, even though others were doing the same simultaneously. I’ve been playing for 10+ years now, and would hate to lose my ability to speak in said chat permanently, just because I was messing around in global. Can something be done about this please?

I do. Some guy named HorseNut was arguing with another dude in global chat. I jumped into the craziness, and started saying things in relation to his name(was censored) and Six seven. After that, thats when I got censored.

Submit a ticket.. apologise. They may unban you, depends what you said. Don't be nasty if unbanned.

Once upon a time: a modder was spam advertising it's usual thing (we know what) so I spammed back "need jobless merc to clean my car, ill give 1kg potato and 1kg tomato". I copy pasted too fast, i guess, to trigger the spam autoban. But support listened and unbanned.

Yeah, that won't get you banned unless you're well over the top and gross in your behavior. These bans are well earned and by upholding it Kabam already doesn't have to worry about you doing it again.

I see, but what I said genuinely wasn’t “over the top” or absolutely vile and gross, especially in comparison to what I have seen in global chat in the past. I apologize for what I said, and truthfully learned my lesson as I wouldn’t conduct any type of chat spam again, but I just feel its somewhat unfair to receive a permanent chat ban when a warning or temp ban would have delivered me the message more than enough.

"in comparison", lol. Did the other guy also get permabanned? If not, maybe you have a case, otherwise, there is a line, you crossed it, doesn't matter how far the other guy was over the line compared to you. If you both crossed it, then it's bad all around and deserves a permaban.
