Nimrod sig ability text change

This isn’t a good change for players.

Why change it if it wasn’t a problem before?

Has it always worked as stated in the new description? If not then it’s nerf to a powerful character similar to Valkyrie and Hulkling situation.

This was stated as modernization of ability description page in 54.0 patch notes but almost 98% of the text is still the same as before so this feels deliberate.

So I did a little bit of testing. The first sp2 that causes you to enter Eradicate Protocol will gain the benefit of the increased damage.

The problem is that if the next time you throw an sp2, you're still in the first Eradicate Protocol that you had entered (or it refreshed without exiting), then you do not gain the increased damage.

But if the Eradication Protocol ends and you enter it again for the next sp2 ,then you get the increased damage.

Ironically, the place where your Eradication Protocol refreshes without exiting is in matches where the opponent gets a lot of regen and prowess effects. So it is harder for him to get the increased damage in his Target matchups

Depends on how it was before. I'm trying to find footage with these exact steps. Problem is ,it's all 7* Nimrods now.

And for normal non mutant/ matches without prowess and regen , there is no difference.

That "modernization" is total BS, mostly they added words like "non-stacking", "buff", "passive" and "effect".

As for the wording change in sig ability (which isn't mentioned in 54.0 patch notes), the question remains: What was wrong before, his ability or his description?

Nimrod has always operated this way; his Sig Ability was not changed.

His entire Ability page was a mess, and was cleaned up to be more accurate to how Nimrod works and was intended to perform.

You can't just say these 2 issues are the same and should be dealt with the same way. They should communicate it but they just aren't the same issue
