What can we expect from Battlecast Relics?

I know it was a topic that was discussed in a live stream, but some things have happened since then, such as the release of stat relics and 7-star relics.

The last battlecast relic we had was the Egg. Which, interestingly, was also the first and so far only 7-star battlecast relic.

Can we expect new battlecast relics? Will we see the current battlecast relics as 7-star?

They also have a problem: Some champions benefit greatly from them, and we only have one, so I have to keep switching relics all the time because there are no variations of them.

I understand the design issue, their "complexity," and most players not using them correctly or even equipping the runes. I know some of them are very powerful, but I like how they complement and make some champions better, and at least I would like to see more options.

In short what @ahmynuts ^,

The reasoning is essentially you have stated in your post. Battlecast too complex, the resources to design them are similar to designing champ, however Relic does not generate the financial income like champions does, which was what Kabam was hoping for.

Statcasts are simply a "simple" solution for what Kabam have got them into, where the game eco required players to have relic, Battlecast was too resources intensive, so Kabam released a bunch of Statcasts (an overwhelming amount in a short time), just to fullfill the need to relic (essentially way to shut the players up).

I don't think batch 3 Statcast release will be awhile yet.

As for Battlecast, I would imagine it is will far a few, maybe 1 every year or two, but they will most likely just link to 1 champ.

does anyone actually care about relics? I feel like 99% of the player base only cares about the strikers and the abilities are just extra. Again I have no data backing this up its just how I personally feel.

some battlecasts yes are absolutely champ changing, statcasts are a nice to have, and the striker part is the best bit overall.

I wish they would make more battlecast relics but they did mention they are too complex which is why they changed to statcast relics which I dislike with a passion. I definitely prefer more battlecasts relics any day

yo is it ok if kabam makes like selector battlecasts cause i will say this fully in still dont have storm, juggernaut or gambits relics at all at 6* level and i have been trying to get them for months now

I think battlecasts work best when they're catered to a certain champ or 2 and make them considerably more relevant. Like the hulkbuster relic with guardian, or the venom relic with venom.

ehhh alot of battlecasts are also good when they arent just champ specific like thor relic or scarlett witch relic i honestly think there is no bad battlecast relic

i love venom with the venom relic, and the rest are still nice to boost up our most powerful champs, they have some nice utlity (antman relic can apply taunt and power stings, etc)

At the very least make it easier to obtain six star battlecast shards, if you’re not going to expand on it. There are loads that I don’t have and relying on the bgs store for them is pretty boring, a nexus of it weekly would be nice or something
