More grindy…. Now its been over 10 years ln this game and i have grown up with it i just cant commit like i used to compare to earlier years.

Game still fun but i literally need to watch a youtube video just to know what that i need to do in every game mode.

Arcade,crossbones, etc for colliseum, sure just have to youtube the fastest and easiest way to get points rather than using my favorite characters to fight…

Game to me has become more of must need to grind instead of having fun grinding. The whole lunar/poker thing is just letting “rng” gods take the wheel kinda grind aswel.

But kabam needs to understand that the game needs to be less grindy or do you think its fine?

Maybe its just me but i can speak for alot that the hame has been more grindy these past couple years.

Been a week since seatin made this, and i had to “commit” sittint down and getting the points for my alliance so we can get the milestones, and rank top 150ish & in chilled plat 2 aw alliance. We rank high in raids but thats nothing compared to the grind vs colliseum grinding in general.

What are your thoughts?

I've also had this game for 9-10 years and I did take a 2 year break and started back playing heavy in 2022. I personally enjoy the game. It has its stupid moments lol but overall, I still enjoy playing.

My gameplay is entirely episodic. Even though I log in each day, I could honestly go days at a time without.

We aren’t a competitive ally, so AQ and AW are afterthoughts, but I might jump in if there is an event that has enhanced rewards.

BGs is a grindfest, but I find that waiting a few days at a time tends to give me more mismatches. Once I hit GC, I coast.

EQ is chore-like. Being required to do Classic is like being put in detention. SQ is usually easy to knock out the day it refreshes.

Story doesn’t exist for all intents and purposes.

I only run arena if it’s an event with enhanced prizes.

Events and offers offer the most excitement, but they are always subject to diminishing marginal returns.

Tl;dr: I still play out of force of habit and enjoy the game, but not as intensively or daily as I used to.

Of course, if a game bypass more than 10 years alive and rentable, its because thousands or even a million players have Mcoc installed.

And after all this, think if you're from Kabam.... With all the possibilities to make money, on an honest way, I need to make it clear, only if you're ignorant to not see you have a golden egg chicken.

A golden egg chicken is a phrase on several countries that says, you have the perfect business to sell anything.

Starting with Champions crystals, all game things they can sell , as energy, sigil, boosts, from 2 years ago, the Relics and all items related, now with new relics and even more things as the new ascension for 7 stars.

So, only if you're blind to let the opportunity pass away.

And if you blame Kabam, try to play any other game on Android or on poor iOS users and you will see the same or even more.

Also, Kabam staff is huge as we could see on Summoners Fest, and they have families. Plus, they need to show to investors and Netmarble, they can still offer Marvel Contest of Champions without any loss($) ,but profit.

So...Summoners that are against this, the game owner selling on its own game, is a fool.

And we know, people here, talk among them, before start a thread on purpose to everyone complain about something and Kabam at times, do a compensation

But, the same people that do this, one day may read , Kabam will close doors in a month, thanks for all your love to our game.

And , the Summoner that keep playing all these years, in the next day without Mcoc, how he will be?

I can answer this one= Not happy!

Im playing since 2017 ,and through 2018 to right now, never lost a single day to enter and receive daily rewards.

What I will do after all these years? I will search for another Marvel game.

Because in the end, what define us ,is to be a Marvel fan.

So. Think about, you can play for free, if you dont want to buy, no need, but, dont complain about the game owner to sell what they want.

Mind your own business and let Kabam sell and keep our Marvel Contest of Champions alive for more 10 or 15 years.

They've focused more on nerfing everything into the ground for new players, and completely forgot there's a ton of endgame players with nothing to do.

Solo coliseum is a 2 week at a time deal that's usually done in the first few days.

Ally coliseum once a month and a 3 day grind fest and that's over.

Eq even with classic only takes a few days.

All we really have is bg's, and that gets boring unless you're a bg grinder.

We need endgame content. Actual frigging quests that we can use our rosters in.

Dude mcoc as is, is a massive revenue generator and at no point has been close to not being profitable.

We are not discussing keeping the lights open, we are discussing the size of the yachts executives will be able to afford with adjusted monetisation strategies.

After a quick conversation with AI(susceptible to some errors), Kabam reportedly earned 60Mil in Q4 of 2025, and estimated operating costs for Kabam are 38-50Mil for an entire year.

Means that is almost certain that last 3 months in 2025 have generated more money it costs to fully fund MCOC for an Entire Year

Couldn’t care less about the game anymore. Don’t care about finishing content, getting new characters, nothing.
