7* OG Dr. Doom

Was just wondering if og doom will be coming as a 7* any time soon. Ive been saving my titan crystals so far in hopes he will be added there but I’m pretty sure it’ll be through a sale, maybe even this year.

Was just wondering because I had good memories playing him years ago and would love to finally start playing him again as a 7*.

We are getting Stellar Forged Doom at the end of the year, maybe a special event release that you have both Dooms and thats what the saga is about

My guess is he will be released in december this year because of the avengers doomsday movie. That said, don't be surprised if he gets a little modern day update because in his current state he struggles to take cosmic defenders like serpent, deathless thanos, dark phoenix and even Maestro. His reliance on shock, nullify and stun prevents him from taking these champions as well as other mystics. Kushala, nico minoru, Shathra, Spiral, Tigra, Pavitr prabhakar and other mystics all handle these cosmic meta defenders much better than him. So I do think he will get buffed before he gets added to the 7 star pool.

The Aura of Haazareth - Change Nullify to Neutralize.

SP1 - Change Nullify to Destroy.

SP2 - Against Cosmic Champions apply Rupture/Degeneration instead of Incinerate. If the DOT is purified, apply a passive DOT dealing the same amount of damage but over an extended period of time.

SP3 - Stun locks champions (if not all then only against Cosmic Champions) even if the node makes them stun immune. Fury gained has a slight duration increase to counter stun nodes. Make Fury passive as well.

Make Doom resistant to Incinerate and stuns as well. I mean he constantly battles F4 and deals with HT and Thing. He should be resistant to their powers a little by now.

Kabam ain't touching Doom's kit for a very long time. At most, you are going to get an updated kit through the stellar forged version like Deathless She Hulk or Thanos.

The game is moving towards bigger rosters with specific counters rather than swiss army knife champs. The exception seems to be swiss army knife defenders. Doom in his current capacity even with the sheer number of nullify, stagger, stun and shock immune champs released lately, is still a top choice for lots of summoners. He will not get touched as a 7*. On the contrary, with the number of immune champs, i am surprised he hasnt been released as a 7* already. He is far from the top of the class that he was earlier.

good memories lol wym!!!!! I still use Doom. lol even with tons of 7*'s lol. He's a fun champ to use
