Will essentia store prices increase or stay the same for each subsequent purchase of an item

Glory store prices increase with each subsequent quantity of an item I purchase, which sucks.

BGs store is goated in that each quantity costs the same.

How will the essentia store work?

I hope like BGs because it never made sense for items to go up in price when buying more. Literally the opposite of how prices work in reality. You buy more of something, you get a discount. Even if we don't get a discount, prices should be stable like the BGs shop.

Tacking onto it, if its 1:1 conversion, which store price will be used for things that overlap now in different stores and currencies?

Picking something dumb, 2x T4cc selectors cost 20 glory but 2x in bg tokens costs 120, will both stores maintain current prices at 1:1 making the glory store better value if the currency is essentia for both or will overlapping items be consolidated with one price?

Yup I noticed that complete lack explanation for consolidating currencies when one store is a set price and the other is an exponentially scaling price…

You generally want items to go up in price the more you buy, like in the radiance store, because it keeps the biggest accounts from gaining an even bigger advantage via their larger purchasing power.

Also, there are examples of this in the real world, too.

Yes, oftentimes we get discounts for buying in bulk, but not always.

For example, the more electricity you try to buy from your energy company, the higher the cost per KW for that excess usage.

tbh I don't care what the whales buy. They can spend money anytime and buy this stuff with units anyway. The only people being punished by increasing costs are smaller accounts

i also agree with the comment about mysterium. It's a useless currency and should've been merged into essentia. Then just award essentia in side quests so we don't have to deal with mysterium. They're trying to consolidate but they remove BGs tokens which is the best shop, but keep mysterium which is by far the worst currency

They said Mysterium store will change too, all those will be rolled into SQ rewards and new stuff will be put in there is what I got from the Essentia post

That's actually completely the opposite of how it works. Larger accounts are the only ones that can take advantage of the increased prices. It creates an even larger gap.

i saw butnthey should nuke mysterium and not change it. Why not just get rid of it and put essentia where mysterium is now

That was a comment on the lack of top resources in those stores. No one cares if whales load up on that stuff so your comment means literally nothing.
