he is the worst character in the game to R5. He cost $100 just to acquire, spent roughly $250-300 on the banquet to get roughly half a t5 alpha, then spent another $300 on the valentines offers and completed colosseum to get the rest of the t5 alpha. After all of that, testing on ROL, it shaved off 2-3 seconds.

Then why do you do it ? Get an action figure of him or something if you love him so much…cos hes useless in this game, and you knew it and still did it. Like I don't understand..is it like guilt tripping yourself or something.

Once or twice @Revan0607 I've used him in EQ if there's a path where Skill champions are optimal and Disorient is needed. I have to take a 6* Elektra for the synergy but it's there. There are certainly better Skill options for that node combination but at least it's somewhere where I have found him to be an okay choice. Not great, not top tier, but okay.

another point why he sucks. If someone relies so heavily on synergies to be good, they suck

At this point, if there was a second mini-buff I would personally be happy with the Base Regen being upped to 60% or thereabouts (this could probably be done in a monthly update, to be fair), and the Secrets of the Hand synergy rolled into the base kit, giving him a nice bit of extra utility.

We've got the second season of Daredevil: Born Again out next month anyway, so hopefully there's something in game to acknowledge it.

Bang on, @Magrailothos . That'll do for me - nice work. The idea I had for the Regen was a Stark Spidey style split - 40% Regen above 50% Health but switching to 80% when below. Similar idea to ensure the Regen didn't cause an issue.

I say congrats for the choice - pretty boring to see only D Thanos rank5 stats all over the place.
I'm a big fan of DD too and really hope that they buff him soon so you can get the most of it.

Kabam now cooking a lot of buffs/rework and I'm looking foward for Classic DD to be reworked.

The way some of you are reacting, you’d think he took Goldpool to Rank 5. 🤣 Honestly, I respect it. Not every rank up has to be meta. If you like DDHK and enjoy playing him, that’s reason enough. I’m thinking about taking Spider-Man (Classic) up when I get the T5A… and I already know the pitchforks will be out. 😅

Not me - I won't cast shade for ranking up who you like. I have a 7* R4 Spider-Man (Classic) because I wanted someone with Taunt as the AI was driving me up the wall. I tend to alternate between fun/character then serious for my rank ups.

hated spideys buff at first, his ramp is a bit annoying for damage but the taunt really makes him fun so he grew on me

This right here motivates me to take Beta Ray Bill to r5 instead of Thanos or Serpent or something like this. It’s the love for the game (or character) that you just have to respect. 😮‍💨🙏🏼

I think it's more the character rather than the kit or it's place in the game. I'm hopeful of some content, or buff, or a nice relic event like the VtD one this year. While the game shouldn't be beholden to what's happening in the MCU, it makes sense to acknowledge it, and benefit from it, where it fits.

@Childish_Almino - it's your account at the end of the day. Take into account the game, where you are with it, what you want to achieve and why you're playing it - fun, competitive, a mix, whatever. The choice is yours.
