Ascension for new champions. Please reconsider.

For everyone that is not aware yet, you can only ascend new released champions if you drop something like 36k units on the featured valiant crystals, and you will not get ascension materials when you pull that champion from the titan crystal.

And if you want to ascend that champion without buying featured valiants, you need to wait at least 1 year!! and there is no info about how that is going to go, just that somewhere in 2027.

Can we make it at least 6 months instead of 1 year+? please?

Or maybe reduce the pity from 120 to 50?

As it stands its just ridiculous for everyone, spenders and non-spenders.

The only people who can ascend new champs are 0.01% of spenders (not even total player base).

I would consider spending , but $1000+ for every new champ is outrageous.

Or maybe we can get an ascendable selector or box of new champs every 6 months , and roll a chance to ascend it, kinda like with the super duper ascension box or the love box.

anything would be better at this point instead of waiting for news in 2027.

I watched a few videos to see what other people think as well, and NOBODY likes it, not even a single soul.

Even CCP members like Seatin and Lagacy are completely agaisnt this, as well as non-CCP members.

Nobody likes this way of ascending new champions. So, if that's the case, let's change it to something better.

It's okay to experiment, but if its completely anti-player move, and creating an immense gap and putting it behind an immense gate, we should not accept it.

We were told "all new champions will be ascendable" but then, "oh, but maybe in 2027", that's an evil slap on the face.

It's like I would say, "yes, i will drive you home" and then say ", oh, i meant , somewhere in the future, maybe 10 years from now.." that is such a shallow and dead promise on arrival.

In my opinion, 3 months should be the maximum for the ascension because it gives those extra blubbering boys a headstart but it keeps f2p+spenders competitive.

Absolutely. I think 3-6 months is the sweet spot with 6 being the absolute latest and milkiest option

Kabam won't change their decision for players as it involves revenue so just accept it and cruise along with the game

Let's there be honest bro, when 7* were launched, how many titan cristals was you able to open?, as f2p or lower spender the amount of titan cristal you could open was very reduced, maybe 1 each month.

Nowadays we have 7* ascencion which are 8* disguised as 7* ascencion, even the border has changes and will be different cristals to pull asendable champions and resources.

It is normal that new champs will gated to pay methods, eventually kabam will update the way f2p or lower spenders can get ascencion resources, is pretty soon to say that f2p can't asende a new champ till 2027.

I think that kabam should have introduced 8* instead of ascencion and this confusion would not happened.

8*s would actually be more problematic, considering they would have to come up with 8* basic crystals, a titan equivalent crystal, mechanics, etc.

Plus the problem with 7*s back then was that 6*s were still meta relevant at the time during 2022 yet they didn’t get time to shine before 7*s were announced in 2023. Take Hulkling and Galan or Kitty, for example

Nah bro, 8* will get their own cyristals for ascendable base pool and maybe special crystals for new champs, as kabam makes with titan launch.

I made a mistake in my maths, I remembered when titan was released I was able to open 1 titan every 3 months or even more months now titan cristals are more commun than before, so kabam would not give ascencion in that way, will be very easy ascend champs.

Anyways I am still happy while kabam doesn't pop up announcements every figth or each time you made a figth.

This was predicted to happen anyway. I am really not sure why people are surprised at all. Put yourself in the business stand point. When you hear stories of F2P players saving 50k units for banquet and getting everything, F2P players saving 200k Titan shards and 1 mill 7* shards waiting for the next roll over. Oh yay I was smart I hoarded everything for a whole year and got everything I wanted!! Oh wait ...

It s enough that we get ascenscion options out of a limited, not desirable pool, and that the "box" needs SIX dupes to work, that means 31 crystals at the least, the titan pool was supposed to be ascendable by the dupe, not by the purchase. Kabam lied, big time.

I know they haven't said specifically "how" the new champs are getting ascended, but since everyone made this simple assumption, now this circus is a scam.

you should just get the ascension material in titan. We already have to wait for the champion to entire the titan pool, that should be all the waiting we have to do to get them ascended.

The part they left out until Friday's 17-hour stream was: "immediately ascendable if you buy them from the featured crystals, otherwise they will be ascendable sometime in 2027."

I think the point of tension for me is that we dont know when ascension for these champs will be available for the average player. Kabam does a similar thing w/ the grandmaster's grace crystal, which I dont see an issue with. If players want to spend 36k units to get them early, that's fair. But that is due to the fact that those who dont spend their units/money on grandmaster's grace are aware that the new champ will be available in the next titan rollover, which is at most 3 months.

We will be waiting at minimum 9 months to receive ascension for champs that were marketed as 'immediately ascendable.' By that time, the excitement of these cool 'new' champs will have died down and the pool of ascendible champs will be much larger than it currently is.

It's been clear from the start that Titan Crystals will not contain Ascension materials; it was never stated otherwise. All brand new Champions obtained between the announcement of Ascension and the launch will be receiving Ascension materials through the Mail.
The exception was always Lizard's obtained via any source.

Pavitr's obtained from the Double Track will also be sent Ascension materials via RER.

Opening a single Super Duper Box Pull guarantees the Ascension materials from 1 pull - 6 pulls will ascend all 6 Champions, not just 1.

Keep sharing feedback on the Ascension structure and overall system - for the base pool, empowered Crystals, etc - ideally once you've tried it hands-on this Thursday.

Ascension going live isn't going to change the sentiment on the new champ cashgrab. If anything once players get a taste of ascension in game the issue will get way worse
