Should I Use My Glory in the Store Before Updating?

I heard about glory going away and being replaced by the new currency. I just got a bunch from AQ and I’m scared I won’t be able to get as much out of the new currency.

They said the old stores would remain for a few months and a manual ( players choice) method of conversion to the new store/currency would be available.

TThere is a limited amount of the new currency so may want to buy from multiple stores.

First, the intent when the three currencies announced get merged into Essentia (Glory, Incursion Artifacts, Battleground tokens) is for overall pricing in the Essentia store to be about as good or better as those stores. In general I don't expect the Essentia store to be a lot better than the Glory, Battlegrounds, or Incursions stores, but I also do not expect it to be worse in any way (in particular because of the other factors below).

Second, those older currencies are not going to be auto converted into Essentia. If you have Glory, Artifacts, or BG tokens you will have to manually convert them into Essentia using some conversion store. There will be a transition period where the old stores and the new Essentia store will exist, since the different currencies aren't immediately going away. So you should be able to choose which store to use, for at least a little while.

Third, as was mentioned in the last livestream, the Essentia store does not have escalating costs. In other words, if something costs 100 Essentia for the first one, it will cost 100 Essentia for the second one and the third one, up to the purchase cap. This means the Essentia store is likely to be superior to the Glory store, since the Glory store has escalating costs.

I think if anything, Glory is the one currency I would not be spending down to zero ahead of the launch of Essentia. Of the three currencies being merged into Essentia, Glory is the currency most likely to be best converted to Essentia rather than spent in the actual Glory store.

Of course, I cannot specifically say what the net conversions and store prices will be for things before the Essentia store launches. I can only say this seems to be the most likely result of the launch when it comes to Glory,

When will the rewards themselves be changed over to Essentia? (eg next BG season, next week AQ)??

I guess I was misunderstood as well. I was in agreement with DNA thinking we would have all the stores for a set amount of time to slowly transition over to the essentia store. So as soon as essentia is available glory store is out?
