Let's have a genuine, honest conversation Kabam

What happened yesterday was deliberate, the choices you made were methodical and determined long ago and I know the community is dying to know the REAL thoughts and expectations behind what happened.

1. The rollout was horrendous, removing all the other stores with no real warning, the traders outpost not updating at the same time was just concerning and I can put this down to a bug maybe they were supposed to land together
2. The purchases within the stores, some of them are just pitiful but don't harm anyone, 1 6* sig stone a week is laughable, 5 signets is terrifying... That won't even cover 2 BG matches so was you expecting people to spend units here? Not to mention the traders outpost and having less availability there than before.
3. The glory situation, you know people have glory in overflow and even if we didn't, glory from last week and the coming week is a lot more than the petty 400 a week trade in, so we were always going to have it expire so you just wanted to watch earned resources disappear?
4. The raids tickets, this a huge decision you made, this was not a mistake it was intentional. Use a 3rd of our Essentia or 1000 units is outrageous, this is nothing but greed and inconsideration for the actual game itself, if this hadn't changed I know that most allies would not have touched Raids this week. This was disgusting.

After the last 2-years have so many problems, issues and general bad decision this is truly the cherry on top. We all saw you scrambling away in the background, changing things after seeing everyone's reactions and even now the changes haven't all implemented, there's still a Glory cap so I can't claim my radiance and the only thing I can spend Glory on now is raid tickets... I have over 800, I don't need more

I really hope, for the sake of this game, we get a real response to this, not more ****

I think it's fair to say that the rollout of Essentia has been a mess at best, I certainly haven't implied otherwise.

There's unfortunately no way to get a redo on it, so the best that can be done is look at the issues holistically and make adjustments so everything sits in a better state, which is what was done over the first few days of release.

I want to be clear about something here -
I'm not saying to stop giving us a hard time, I have no issues there whatsoever.

What I'm saying there's a difference here between "Kabam is intentionally trying to screw us, nobody has our interests in mind" and "hey, I don't think this is a good thing because of XYZ." The latter allows me to help you much better than the former, which is what I want to do. The designer of Essentia is actively trying to improve the player experience with a more powerful store where everything is centralized and less messy.

I'm confident that Essentia will ultimately be more valuable for players once everything is in place, and the fact that everything wasn't in place at launch was a major miss on our part. Things were missed, that's the reality of what went on here, which is unacceptable and creates a poor product - there's no sugar coating that - so adjustments are being made to make the roll out stronger, and make the transition into Essentia make more sense for everybody.

Can we also get an interpretation on if theres any possibilities of new champion ascension being improved/addressed?

Everyone from kraken to whale to guppy to ftp absolutely hates it so currently it's for no one and should change

I can't go a minute in the mcoc community of any format without seeing a video, post, or comment on it

One of the main issues for me with Ascension is that it removes almost all agency from the Player in favour of RNG - and multiple RNG at that.

I do have one simple suggestion that could make Ascension land better for more players. If some or all of the Greater Empowered crystals were made into Nexus crystals, it would give players a bit more control over their Ascension decisions.

That’s the rub though and what happens when trust completely breaks down between a company and its customer base.

Kabam is pushing the line of ‘we made some mistakes, it didn’t go as planned, we’re trying to improve ‘. In response the player base says ‘we don’t believe you, we think you pulled this to see what you could get away with.’

When trust has broken down that badly it’s going to take more than a few freebies and earnest messages to put it right. It’s going to take a substantially improved product that consistently performs to the levels expected.

Until that trust has been rebuilt you’re going to have to take whatever flak comes your way on the chin and accept it as part of the road to redemption.

Just one last point because it’s been bugging me all week. The failures didn’t occur because the players found the transition process too difficult as was strongly implied that first message that came out after the release. The failures came because it wasn’t implemented in the way we were told it would be, and because Kabam failed to properly prepare us for the change

I had just saved up over 400k Incursion for yet another attempt at pulling Angela. Held onto it to see if the crystals would be a better value in the new store thinking if it wasn’t I’d just go ahead and get it in the Incursions store and lo and behold the incursion store disappeared.

Any chance the Incursions store will be restored like the others? I thought the old and new stores were gonna run side by side for a bit?
