Middle of march What would've been Dracula's balance update

I realize we are in the middle of march and this would've been Dracula's balance update if the balance program was still going on. It's obvious that Dracula has been a champion that, to put it kindly, hasn't hit anybody's expectations. I had modest expectations for him, but even I ended up being disappointed. I do like the kit and the idea behind and I even enjoy his playstyle but the execution has obviously been a huge miss. His lack of damage is really the big issue for me. He simply doesen't offer anything that other mystics do better than him. He was marketed as a Deathless Thanos counter but even champions such as Kushala, Nico Minoru, Pavitr Prabhakar and now the recently released Madelyne Pryor all do him better and faster than him.

I do believe that Dracula though isn't far from being great. If he could get a damage bump to his dire degen I think his main issue would be fixed and he would a lot more viable.

I'm obviously writing this know since mid march would've been his balance update if it was still going on. Like everyone else, I hope Dracula gets a buff.

How would you guys buff Dracula? If there are big Dracula players out there I would love to hear your thoughts.

Pretty bang on post this, and I agree, he's really fun, but the degen is way too weak, and his Sig is a gimped version of what abs man has in his basic kit...

Coldsnap, frostbite, and rupture immunity

Dracula cannot take damage from bleed effects.

Dracula’s invisibility ignores true strike, true accuracy etc of cosmic champions .

Dracula’s health regen cannot be reduced or reversed unless fighting #silver or when fighting in the Sun. (Added weakness debuff when fighting in the sun)

Psychic shielding/full reverse control immunity

Added buff steal to SP3 which allows him to copy all non unique buffs of the opponent.

SP3 now creates an automatic “Super dire” degen for the duration of the passive bleed damage (basically 3 seconds)

permanent health regen while degen is active that heals a percentage of missing health (give him terrible regen constantly but this should further boost his healing when he does a special attack)

Both SP1 and 2 can now trigger super dire degen

SP1 adds a neutralize debuff for the duration of the special

extended SP2 that now includes a lightning bolt with instant shock damage (I would blatantly rip off Dragon Man and Annihilus. Hell! I would even throw in some wings why not get crazy? The dark lord has to be down there somewhere.

Signature ability gets moved to his base kit (nerfed armor break based damage boost)

his new signature ability- Prince of Darkness

Degeneration effects now cause reduced buff duration and potency on the enemy (max 19% for base degen meaning super dire degen would reach 133% during SP2 and 3)

A persistent charge for every champion that is hit with an SP3 (Stack Limit 12)

-Dracula gains stacking passive vicious buffs increasing all damaging debuff effects by 3-6% per charge (there’s the damage bump that y’all keep asking for)

-Buff duration (2-6 seconds at max)

-Resistance to damaging debuff effects while invisible (up to 100%… pseudo undying)

bonus effect. When fighting Legion of Monsters or other vampires Dracula’s SP3 creates an additional persistent charge.

Auto damage doesn’t make you a “good defender” it’s just cheap. And it doesn’t match up with attributes. Plus his dire degen at R5 only does 560 damage per tick which the defender isn’t going to get the opportunity to turn dire. So you’re basically asking for Dracula to automatically deal less than 10% damage in Battlegrounds just to be annoying while having very little reason to actually place him on defense. Now compare that to someone like Kindred or Elsa. In fact I will specifically use my R3 sig 40 Elsa who has an unawoken Bullseye relic (for replication purposes). I dueled her using my R4 sig 200 Blade. Elsa dealt 1524 Degen damage for about 3 ticks per bleed that she was suffering from. At this rate I would need to boost Dracula’s damage by over 150% to get siniliar results. Once again I want to reiterate that Dracula’s degen is not effected by modifiers, masteries, or any other buffs that modify attack rating. More importantly he would still get nuked by quite literally any damage over time effect. Let alone a science champion with high burst.

the new meta literally turns every Mystic champion in battlegrounds into a roided attacker. What will you do with him two seasons later? What will you do outside of Battlegrounds? And yes there is a need because his attributes still would not match his productivity.
