You should absolutely put the point in MD.

Assassin is less popular than it used to be for everyday loadouts. Most people that I know are running it for their AW defense build but not for their base mastery loadout they use for attacking, etc.

I really need Mastery to be updated. Its the oldest thing in this game that needs a tune up and point changes.
