It is worth Pause BG Season (after the next Season end) for some real Testing

We can all agreed the BG is struggling right, and for many reason, which Kabam also know.

Cause of as of right now BG feel quite dead anyway, I don't even see any of the top Celestial players streamingn(at least those that haven't already quit). Even the one that does stream felt disengaged with the game mode.

We all want BG to be an engaging and exciting game mode again, and Kabam are actively testing various things out, which by itself is a good thing.

However with only 1 week of Off Season and 4 week of Season (where testing shouldn't be on). Is it worth considering just pause the whole Season things for a few months (even half a year maybe).

Instead just have essentially Off Season, with every week or two weeks a different meta, testing, idea, experiments. Change rewards into more about participation, spread the Radiance and Essentia to Solo Milestone instead, indoing so it would encourage more participations and give Kabam more data, time and room to truly test wild ideas out.

After the extensive testing,aybe BG can come back in an exciting way.

You probably started in Marvel Contest of Champions for less than 2 years, so you should experiencie more before say things you dont know yet

When I click to battle, in few seconds a match is created.

Maybe you have some problems on your connection.

And just wait for the next big change, the pause removal, if you pause for a second, there are no more seconds visible, only 88:88 and pause abusers dont know the current remaining time hahaha.

Next Step will be Kabam removing that.

But, in this Season meta the faster you defeat ,the better chances to win you have, so pause abusers are doomed.

Instead of criticize Kabam every day , try to call everyone here for a Worldwide BG Tournament as I did here on Forums in 2024, it was only with 4 stars and 8 people participate.

But now, everyone with only 5 stars, and friend matches.

Just imagine the fun of it.

This is why I don't push or play that much. The giant gap between the high tiers and lower tiers is ridiculous imo (and yes, I am just complaining because I'll never be a celestial player and get that oodles of radiance).

That's ok. I just go to Gamma 1 and camp so I end up at Gamma 3 by the end of the season with minimal work.

And I'm not even close to being a good BG player. I once lost with my deck of 7r4 and r3 to someone who had 6r5 and 7r1 in their deck in GC. When I friended them afterwards and complimented their skills, we got to talking and found out that they hadn't been past zone 6 on a saga incursion. So I carried them. My skill set lies elsewhere than BG since I could care less about it.

Well the current BG game mode have serious problem in many aspects, which Kabam know and trying to figure out the way forward.

However, with the current BG schedule structure, I don't feel like there are much room to really test things, giving it a chance for a real review and overhaul. Hence my suggestion, of just pause on the normal schedule for a while and Kabam can test thing out in a more Off Season setting and while they do that they can temporarily change how rewards are earn to encourage participation.

I don't know what be the final fix (most likely a combination of everything). But right don't feel like any real change can happen with this half arse testing.
