I would argue this comment seems a little hypocritical when your profile picture is Franken-Castle, a champion who is the purest novelty of “famous comic book hero but now also that famous horror monster please clap” and has such serious animations as a sp2 wherein he uses his own arm as a weapon then lobs a Looney-Tunes style bundle of TNT sticks. Not even hating, I think Franken-Castle is neat, but I like him because I’m cool with novelty and wackiness.

Also, if you ask me, Ruby Thursday isn’t even really a novelty character. It’s not like her gimmick is anything more outlandish or comedic than “guy who is stuck in a rhinoceros suit” or “alien goo who makes you swole and evil”, it’s just that guys like Rhino and Venom have enough media presence to inoculate most people to the weirdness of their concepts so no one really questions it anymore.

Maybe Bong. With Bastion, Jack and The Maker I’m not sure how useful it’ll be having another Jean Grey/onslaught/Cap Britain counter. Definitely won’t be a ranking priority from what I could see.

Based on the video, she looks like a way better counter for virtually all the mutants you mentioned. Both Bastion and Maker are slower than her, Jack will probably still be better but she has the potential to land higher than the other two. Not only is she a faster option than the other two, she is actually a dual threat, the other two are completely useless on defense. This is all assuming her damage is actually what we saw on the deep dive, which hopefully it is, because that rotation was in fact shorter and easier to pull off than Bation’s or Maker’s literally just punch punch sp1 sp2 done.

The weird thing is that she only seems to shut down Neuroshocks only if the opponent inflicts Daunted, so that seems to be specifically targeted towards Onslaught (and Cassandra Nova)

She could still be good for Cap Britain, but she's not immune to the neuroshock unlike Maker

Yes but she doesn’t crit and her rotation is shorter which makes up for it, as long as you stick to baiting Britain’s sp2s you can probably nuke. Jack already works this way and he nukes her quite comfortably.
