WAR team found changing defenders mid war obviously hacking

Good morning everyone and happy easter.
We are in a war at the moment and facing the team attached in screenshot. The second war starts our leaders (IcemanOmega) always scouts the paths and sends out counters and options for each attacker to use in their paths. We have just seen path 6 defenders have been changed mid-war. We believe and know for a fact these guys are hacking or soft modding as this is just not possible with out hacking, @KabamPinwheel

Don't see how that would even be possible. They would have to mod into Kabam's servers and change data there.

Not like modding on your own device's game files to boost stats for a fight of your own.

Only thing would be to show both BEFORE and AFTER pics, with enough surrounding champs to see that it is indeed the same map/war/BG/etc.

Could also be that initially (if just seen by 1 person capturing screenshot, without other's seeing that “before” way at first too), that might have been a resource glitch where wrong icon was shown that one time. Or, currently looking, does everyone see it changed, or just 1 person screenshot show different now (same, might be just resource glitch this “After” pic, do others see as same ?)

But including the actual Ally name and accusing of cheating, publicly here in forum, is not allowed.
(yes, showing the maps would also contain that info, but for showing information about the issue. Different from 1st pic that just shows alliance and you saying they hacked)

Most likely an obscure visual bug. There have been reports over the years of nodes that appear empty but turn out not to be, nodes that were cleared by an attacker but the defender still appears on the map, etc.

I agree with comments above too. Nothing is impossible but hacking outside of an individual device would be a new escalation in terms of dirty tricks.
