I really enjoyed the 40 champ deck in bgs last season it was more fun , new matchup, different deck pulls , now with 30 its just those same yelena serpent and onsi . I have 23 rank4s and i am not a big spender

I absolutely agree with this. The 5 bans and changes to shuffle signets made were amazing. As you said it really opens up the game and you stop seeing the same matchups over and over again, this season has felt like such a step back in comparison, I’ve done the same fights over and over and over, yelenas, photons, serpents, Zolas, and now that I have all the counters to them ranked up, it just becomes a game of who gets luckier in the draft.

40 champ decks with the 5 bans and wider roster requirement made you think outside the box, let you compete in fun fights again, and brought back an element of strategy and thinking beyond just “must place meta defender”

yes , i didnt feel bored doing bgs match up , now i know i cant pick any thing except meta champs cauz my opponent will definitly get a meta defender , yes u could see someone with 40 r4 but that is still rare , plus that meta with 40 champs made u get more mystic in your deck if it was this meta with fury people would actually lots of diferent champs in there deck.

I didn't even get past vibranium 3 last season and I was fighting MFs with 35k+ prestige, full (or almost full) decks of R4s, even folks with 1 or more R5s. I fought some people with 3 R5s, AT VIBRANIUM 3, in 8/10 fights. It was not much fun.

I hated it. Smaller deck sizes give a feeling of much greater control over what’s happening. Less randomness, less to keep track of in the opponents deck. 40 champ deck felt like a complete crapshoot. Or at least even more of a crapshoot than the 30 deck variant.

the randomness is what makes it more fun , its just gets boring now with 30 champ deck and i think it the titian crystal to blame , with titian everyones has those stupid meta bs defender they keep in deck and now there numbers have grown , all i keep seeing is yelena jean zola nico photon , it just gets boring to keep fighting them again and again

40 deck is the least thing to keep the mode interesting enough. Speaking from a c5 and higher perspective player. 30 makes it boring and everyone is running the same champs again while with 40, you saw some variations between each decks and you were able to strategize more. Especially with the amount of champs we are having in this game right now, 40 champs with 4 bans would be very good.
