Yes the saga is over, but the 7* rank up bundle is still available to purchase for THIRTEEN DAYS… but no way to buy the tokens you're short of. Makes perfect sense. Guess I'll just have to be satisfied with my 10,800 7* shards from the trade-in.

That is how every saga chase has worked. The bundle is always available for purchase for a time after the conclusion of the event as a "just in case" measure for players that forget or have some other circumstance delaying their purchase.

Because there was a deadline for the tokens so they could transition to the next saga chase. I get not everyone likes that answer, but it is pretty straightforward. It was a limited chase and that limit is up.

Yes, that is a lot of days to miss, but:

a) Adult life sometimes means that you can't (for whatever reason) log in to a mobile game every day;

b) I'm not crying at all about the fact that I think I deserve a 7* toad for free because I own the fact I missed multiple days;

c) I am however questioning why we can't BUY tokens up until the time the offer disappears from the store. For a business like Kabam, that would've been easy money for the next 2 weeks!

Its quite simple really. If you feel like for some reason you will miss days beforehand, buy the tokens early on. Or if you know your habituallyoff and on again with the game, same story, buy tokens early on.
