Villains Epoch

Hi all

Just a quick question.

Now that Epoch Gauntlet is in game, will it clear the objective if I clear the quest with a Villain team but sit at Ares and just knock him over when the objective appears in game?

There's a lot of stuff coming in game so want to be on top if it early if I can.

Thoughts welcome.

As it has with the other challenges, I assume the answer is yes. My plan is to run it Tuesday after clearing DSE so I can clear Ares and hop into 9.4 right away.

Have you looked into the Cerebro tool that MCOCNOOB put together for the runs? He makes suggestions on who to use for each fight and you can build your team through that. I actually have a planned team of 3 right now for every fight, which was surprising to me. I'll be adding in two other champs just to spread stuff out more. My current plan starts with Serpent, Onslaught and Nefaria.

I did that with the other ones but my Hero's run went so bad, I spent close to a hundred revives throughout the whole thing. Granted I learned a lot about those fights that go so I don't think it will be nearly as costly but unlike Abyss, I'm not willing to risk it for this. I'm gonna wait this go until it just goes live on Wednesday.

The plan started with Serpent, Nefaria and Onslaught. Adding in DThanos to take some fights off of Serpent because most were going to him, and then will either add Vox because he is interchangeable on most of the fights I plan for Serpent and Thanos to take, or will look into a synergy champ.

I've just done the Hero one so i'm going to try pick Villians as close to the same kits as possible. Going to go DThanos, Nefaria, Serpent, Onslaught, and posssssibly Bastion

Which Villain champs can bypass Ares damage cap?

I would imagine Serpent's Culforce attack increase doesn't work since the increase happens within the fight, but does the fury from Dread still take effect? Would Mister Sinister still see fury and crit rating benefits?

I was planning to run void for the fights people seem to be using Count Nefario for. Does he handle them better, and thus I should switch to him?
