MCOC NOOB has some great walk throughs for each path in act 9. He's up to 9.3 if I'm not mistaken. Today he just uploaded a vid on how to beat 9.4 boss "Carina". Seatin also streams his Act completion as well.
Tip, you don need tips, it is the easiest content kabam has made.
For corrupted Carina
Mystic Mutant: JG
Tech science : Viv vision or iron heart
Sikill: Yelenna or Serpent.
I did my fisrt run and full explored 9.4.6, I don't change any champion on my team since I star the the act but for for carina's figth I did it, my team was SW, serpent, Nico, Bastion and NF.
Man this 9.4.2 mutant path is a pain
I used apoc with stryfe synergy. Nontheless Full focused fights (4-6 min)
Mutant power back boost and the CapIW + storm synergy is what kept me sane for that path. It's a slog
As someone that just got to the last Kang in act 7, is this easier? I know act 8s bosses look hella intimidating (also sorry for hijacking the thread, I just was curious)
I liked the act 8 bosses a whole lot more than act 7 bosses. Act 9 wasn't hard but some of the bosses felt trickier than act 8. But Carinas is probably the easiest and most fun of all act 9.
IMO that was the worst path in 9.4
I felt like the Act 9 bosses were easier than Act 8. Orochi was the most difficult of the Act 9 bosses for me. Carina was easy.
Jean and Serpent were my go tos also and got solos with them. Add Red Skull to the list of tech options, he got me a solo as well.
that gives me hope 😅
That was one of the worst I used some revives for that path because I don't have ranked up champs based on prowess I don't know why they making prowess based mutant path with recent champs don't having prowess
Thanks!
9.4.3 mutant/tech path, Emma frost is insane, you just dash back 5 times and you get 10 prowess (caltrops in diamond form) , then just heavy attack to exit diamond form, and rush to sp2, insane damage, then bait sp to enter diamond form again, and repeat the process.
StormX smoked the defenders on this path.
Power back boost, r2 storm with storm relic, full boosts, and spam sp2 for stun lock is what got me through it. I don't know what I would have done otherwise. The only path I had to restart and plan around. Wish I had thought of synergies too, but for some reason I didn't.
Honestly, all the protection and unblockable on like every path wasn't the most interesting.
But a few paths took some thinking to counter right, so it was nice. Heimdall was a godsend for ignoring the damage back of most nodes due to overly aggressive play
