Could be 0. Could be 100s. Depends on your skill level. I personally never dipped into non overflow revives for these challenges but others had different experiences especially with the 1 per week model

for me I had revives in overflow before carinas and 9.4 and with doing the dailies each week I ended up spending about a 1000 units in addition to my entire stash.

However the biggest spends were easily the gm gauntlet and the epoch gauntlet runs. Everything else was about 10-15 total

I would do 9.4 and then try the abyss challenges. If either of these seem too difficult then stop and build your roster out a bit.

great, I used quite a few on ordeal heroes, since I didnt have the best champs available, so wanted to know if the other tasks required the same or less. Seems 9.3 and 9.4 would require the least revives.

It really depends on your skill and roster. For abyss, I only used 9. For epoch heores, I used 54, and for epoch villains, I only used 15. It's also just about how you're playing that day, as my vast difference in epoch runs proves.
