Checked it multiple times.. I have 3/3 Recoil on and you see the call-out, my muscle mass below 12 (I'm s200 either way) and 10% hp gone from 3/3 Recoil Mastery
Even for me I see this weird…i don't even enabled recoil mastery.. still getting recoil damage
Did you have 12 Muscle Mass?

Just took him into Lab to complete full rotation and yeah he takes both .. the Recoil in his kit plus the Mastery (that he "doesn't benefit from" lol double Recoil
Mine is s200, but if you throw at 12 mass while not unstoppable he takes 5% from kit and 10% from 3/3 Recoil for a total of 15% per activation 🙃
Calling it now. This is a kabam wording update. His kit says he doesnt benefit from the recoil mastery but it doesnt say he doesnt take the negative effect of the recoil mastery lol

I'm fairly sure there is no champ in the game that actually bypasses the recoil mastery damage from sp1 & sp2 use if you have those turned on. The less-than-12-muscle mass is only for him to bypass his own kit's recoil.
I have a Rank 5 A1 Gentle, he's one of my favorite Mutants in the game - I understand his kit, how he works and optimal use more than most, he has never taken Recoil damage from the Mastery - there's a paragraph about it in his description, but either way, I've been playing him since release
Has anyone from Kabam acknowledged this bug? Just an acknowledgement that we are aware of it would be great, just so I know it will get fixed at some point, thank you
