It was pointed out recently in another post, but I don't think Kabam acknowledged it. The point system isn't counting level 1 towards the objective points, so we're missing 6 points that we should all have.

I know the objective wording says rank up 90 times, but the stream explained it as reaching a combined rank of 90. Can we get some clarification please?

Yes and you started at rank 1… so you need to be at 96 if you ranked up 90 levels. It says rank 90 levels not rank to level 90.

Yes, the objective says that, but the livestream said otherwise. That's why we need to clarify which statement is true.

That still doesn't add up to what they told us in the livestream. Look at my collective pic. If I got my last two collectives up to rank 15, the objective scoring would only have me at 86 points. Kabam clearly set 90 points (6 classes at rank 15 each) as the goal in the livestream, not rank up 90 times. Seems more like there was a mixup at the office.

same. I was also confused. Why not the combined ranks adding towards the objective. The total is already 90. I am also at 85 which should be 91 if all ranks are added up. @Kabam (Osaurus) Rex. Please look into this

The livestream said if you were at rank 15 for all, you would get 3 greater empowered crystals. Im at that exact equivalent, with 90 total, and I'm missing out on 2 greater empowered crystals because Kabam didn't do what they said again.

Yep. They messed up with the objectives, it should've required 84 collective rank ups. Not 90.

And it is further confirmed by having rank 25 listed on the same graphic. We can't rank them up 25 times as 25 is the max, so rank 25 unlocks the stated rewards. It only makes sense, even more, that rank 15 in the graphic did not communicate to rank them up 15 times, but that the rewards unlocked at the level 15 average.

So one of these things is true: Kabam misstated the requirements in the communication, they built the objectives incorrectly, or collectives were supposed to start at level 0 and not level 1. Whichever is true, there is now a situation where Kabam failed in communication once again.

But at the end of the day, the objectives are clear. According to the objectives, 16 is the target, and those objectives are working correctly. So now Kabam needs to clarify why the communication failed and if they intend to make changes to align things correctly.

I get what you're saying, but that's not how it was explained or how it was posted in the livestream. So it's possible the person who wrote the build for the objectives made a mistake from the original intention. Reach rank 15 and rank up 15 times are two completely different things but could have been easily misinterpreted when setting things up.

I won't disagree with you on one thing. They became the kings of miscommunication between their thousands of teams in charge of things.

If you want me to criticize them on how stupid this mistake or overlook was I can do that. The core of the game runs on the assumption that everything starts at level 1. Easiest example are champions that automatically start at rank 1 not rank 0. So yeah its the dumbest mistake on communication, design, overlook and understanding of the game point system overall. I mean they had to put 50 gold as a place holder for people to be able to complete the objective ...

Lol agreed. It does seem like the left hand never knows what the right hand is doing over there sometimes.

I just want the community to get what was told to them, if that was Kabam's intentions to begin with. Or at least tell us it was a mistake in the wording or something.

I’m with you on this. The slide from the stream clearly states rank 15 gives those 3 crystals. Not rank up each collective 15 times, which would be the 90 points.

I think the biggest problem is, that while the rank 25 rewards are in the rewards themselves, the one stated as 15 is actually from the objective. This whole thing wouldn’t have been an issue if the 3 empowered crystals from “reaching rank 15” had also been in the rank up rewards and not put in for this limited time.
