They did say during the vote that shathra won that losing choice champions would take longer to come out now so that the vote had more impact.

Iirc they did actually give a genuine reason when White Tiger was released as to why they released her so fast.

It might have been on a livestream where she was announced.

But they honestly shouldnt need to give a reason. The summoners choice champs get to come in first and get the most love which is the point of the vote. The point of the vote isnt for us to vote which champions we dont want in the game for X amount of time if that makes any sense.

If they bar losers from entering for X amount of time then that's what the summoners choice vote is instead of a celebration and a positive community event.

Ideally the vote would be one where the winner is the same as how we have it now but the runner ups get priority over whatever other champions in the pipeline if there is room as the community still wanted and voted for them.

Its also worth pointing out as well that they've definitely tried to move to a point where we know less and less of what's coming up in the future in terms of champions, they stopped the narrative road maps because it meant that everyone basically knew a year in advance every champion that was gonna be added and they even mentioned that being the reason a while ago, so having 8 champions that people basically knew were going to be added sooner or later took a lot of the mystery out. Since the shathra vote im pretty sure Ruby is the only loser that's been added in like 2 years, as in a character that was featured in votes from shathra onwards

Yes it’s possible but assuming the hidden synergy is 100% her is a hard cope. There is just as much of a chance of that synergy being someone else purely because of the fact that she didn’t even make it to the finals. What reason could Kabam possibly have to be so desperate about adding an obscure champ to the game when they didn’t even get close to winning the vote? From a logical standpoint it doesn’t make sense.

It's probably because the final vote score was something like 50.1% to Gladiator and 49.9% to White Tiger. (I may be wrong, but was stupidly close, no more than a single % point in it.) and so because of how close it was, they added her sooner than they would've, because IIRC, it was felt to be 'unfair' to the Wiger voters to make them wait excessively for her when it was so tight.

And im pretty sure I never said its 100% going to be, I just think occams razor would suggest that the ghost rider mystery synergy is likely for the champion that was likely to be added when ghost rider was in development. It could be another ghost rider which could be Robbie, i just think its unlikely

they’ve never had mystery synergies for summoner choice losers though. If there was a precedent it would have more weight as a guess. But we’ve never seen that, and we do have a precedent of losers having to wait years (since shathra’s vote at least). I don’t think it’s fantasma this time around, they’ll just give her her own ghost rider synergies whenever it’s her time to come.

While Fantasma could potentially come in the future, I don't believe the synergy teases her. Mainly because the synergies they plan out and keep in mind they didn't know who will win the Summoner's Choice. Instead with them planning it out we should use the clue to see who it teases. First we can consider the champion the synergy comes with, we can see other champions include in their other synergies and then think of champions the title of the synergy could be hinting at who are not currently in game. I think personally with the synergy Robbie Reyes could work as he is a Ghost Rider and has the penance stare. Blackheart could also work as he is Mephisto's son, a Ghost Rider villain.

Robbie being the mystery synergy is way simpler to explain, it’s literally just two words: fan favorite. So no I still don’t get your point, no matter how you look at it one of them is way easier to explain and more likely than the other, you can even ask ChatGPT who would be the top 3 contenders and I guarantee you even AI will answer either Robbie Reyes or Danny Ketch lol.
