The short answer is that collectives are a reason to rank up everyone.
The other short answer - pretty much everyone there is worth ranking up except for Gambit unless you love his playstyle. Dust is my personal favorite and she was my first 7r5. Very much looking forward to hopefully having her at A2.
Cyclops is underrated IMO, counters evade/miss and huge unblockable specials.
Bishop and Dust for when nodes require prowess.
Also remember that you never know who will be available for coliseum.
Like NARWH4L pointed out… it's worth ranking up (and sigging up) all your 7* captains, but in an order that benefits your actual progress through the game too. I.e. I would rank up the likes of Dust and Havok before ranking up a champ like Gambit.
Only mutant I can see some use is pyramid x or emma, as they can be ascended and prowess based. Hopefully I pull their ascension.
Gentle will be nerfed by the echo damage changes next month. I think he is one that will be adjusted but who really knows. If that is your choice I would wait.
DUST!! Her triple immunity and SAND debuff saves many wars!
Well focusing on champs you're actually going to play is a good place to start. Just like that, you've narrowed your focus down to two champs, and you really can't go wrong between the two.
He's been specifically called out as a champion that they'll adjust to prevent the changes impacting on him.
I mean, obviously we should keep an eye on it. But he's pretty likely to come out of these changes without to much negative impact.
… not a fan of their use of the word “should” there…
You trust Kabam more than I do lol, but you are right he should be ok. "Should" is what gives me pause, but that's me.
@peixemacaco, yes, Morpheos is now Victoris. That’s generally what happens when someone changes their forum name. There’s nothing “disguised” about it, and I’m not sure why that needed pointing out as though it’s some kind of gotcha.
More importantly, I’d like to ask a genuine moderation question here.
Kabam’s forum rules explicitly ask all of us to:
“Work hard to keep the discussion constructive.”
They also state:
“Posts that are intentionally created to wind up or incite the community aren’t constructive and will be removed at the moderator’s discretion. These types of posts typically have no value to the conversation and create a toxic environment for your fellow Summoners.”
Now to be clear: all of us post something off-topic now and then. All of us get disagrees or dislikes from time to time… some of them probably completely unwarranted from the serial “Dislikers” this forum seems to have.
But this doesn’t appear to be that.
You’ve been on these forums about 7 and a half years. In that time, you’ve made roughly 7,300 comments and 573 discussions… around 7,873 total contributions.
Across those posts, the community has given approximately:
19,800 Disagrees 20,700 Dislikes 1,500 Abuse 665 Off Topic 110 Spam
That’s roughly 42.7k negative reactions. That’s an average of more than five negative reactions for EVERY SINGLE contribution you make!
At some point, this stops looking like occasional disagreement, and it starts looking like a remarkably sustained pattern of posting that the wider community overwhelmingly experiences as unconstructive.
I’m not posting this to abuse you, peixemacaco. I’m asking a genuine moderation question:
If Kabam’s stated standards around constructive participation are meaningful, shouldn’t a pattern this statistically extreme be looked into? P.S. For perspective, I’ve been on these forums for slightly longer than peixemacaco, with 873 total contributions (770 comments and 103 discussions).
In that time I’ve received 1,000 total negative reactions across disagrees, dislikes, abuse, off-topic and spam combined. That’s roughly 1.15 negative reactions per contribution.
That’s obviously not zero. None of us are universally agreed with, and some negative reactions are just part of forum life, but it does help illustrate why 42,775 negative reactions across 7,873 contributions stands out as something far beyond normal disagreement.
