Lizard does insane work
Blue Marvel. Fully counters Maw. Does insane damage even without the 3 heavy traumas. 50k mediums at rank 4, but I guess clowns will still say he does 0 damage.
All Lizard for me. Has made me consider R5ing him.

I've been putting off learning Lizard's rotation, so this looks like a great opportunity. What do you recommend for the rotation against Maw?
Cleared nearly 20 bars with Red Guardian, didn't bother with Lizard he looked boring to use and the one and only run I had with him took so long. Red Guardian is probably the best option purely because of damage those bars just melt. You do need to learn spacing properly tho because after five bars you will mostly be punishing sp1 with heavy.
10-11 bars with r4 Spiderwoman. I have suicides on so it's actually the throwing of the specials that is killing me.
Main thing I try to do is take advantage of unblockable + unstoppable you get from being buff immune or when Maw nullifies a buff. When Maw finishes Sp1 I use the unstoppable + unblockable to hit once then heavy to keep his focus off. Feels like that is a big part of the fight—heavy kills the focus and punishing the special places a tracking on Maw.
Parry + heavy whenever you get a clean stun on Maw and use striker to keep Maw unfocused. If timing falls off and you get faltered, just let the falter heal you. I tend to drop the Sp2 a lot, but honestly the natural openings Lizard creates to heavy plus the tracking does a lot to keep the fight rolling.
It’s been a reliable 12-13 bars each time for me.
Used red guardian
Used Spider woman, who is R4. Slow and steady runs but safe once I have the right spacing to throw heavy and then a special. Not as bad as I thought and actually enjoyable since I already completed a quarter of maximum bars allowed within one morn
Can someone explain this fight to me like I'm a 5 year old child please. I have cognitive overload where large amounts of information or instruction confuse my brain so I need short bullet points
I just tried it for the first time with rank 4 sig 120 Spiderwoman and she instantly dropped from 90% health to 15% health.
I see there's impending extortion but 90-15% isn't 1% of my attack and there was no degen on me.
Zemo was my only option for this fight, and I thought it would be an absolute slog, but at r3, he's doing an easy 7 bars per run, and it would be more if I could consistently get the sp2 dex off, the block damage it does is insane, the ramp and control zemo has is really good for this fight.
Spiderwoman seems to work the best for me. Compared to the trauma of Havoc and Crossbones last time out this coliseum has been relatively fun to do.
