Yeah, honestly she should actually be on the Ascension pole list cause its actually annoying she is the worse out of the 3 Jean's we have in the game(Well 4 if we count Madalyne)
too bad dark phoenix isn’t really obtainable in game apart from past exclusive spending event, if they release a necropolis 2.0 it would be cool to put her as the trophy champ in rewards

Eh Deathless Thanos was f2p friendly in earning him, Dark Phoenix was basically spend over a 1000 dollars.

I've been debating ranking up my Phoenix, as there is a lot to her kit that seems really useful. I avoided her because I didn't want to manage power bars, but after using Doctor Strange I have warmed up to the idea.
What are some places/matchups you like using her? (I've been wondering whether her autoblock counter would be consistent enough for Ruby Thursday and the like)
honestly I don’t think she would be that good for ruby Thursday because that one requires an undermine buff to counter
But other than that phoenix has plenty of utility , lots of debuffs, DOT, buffs, power gain, very cosmic focused champ
And if you play PvE using revives will automatically heal her up because of the 20-40-60% hp thresholds, which saves you lots of healing pots , she is very sustainable
Not the fastest in BGs but outside of that quite a great champ , and her synergy with Emma frost makes Emma twice as good and I have Emma at r5
Phoenix is also useful in Wheel of Fate, long form content , story content, event quests ..
As said great for PvE
I'd like to see this happen. She is the worse out of the 4 Jean Grey variants 😅 (Phoenix, Jean, Dark Phoenix, and the Jean Grey clone "Mad Maddie" Madeline Pryor), but still has some usefulness. Ascension would do her some good. I'd actually go for that.
I am wondering when she’ll be in the basic pool, since she was only in two events: the saga chase and the Love is a Battlerealm event
I actually just tested 4-star Phoenix against 4-star Ruby - after gaining the 3 furies from one SP1, Ruby’s autoblock fails.
Ruby only counters True effects, so reducing AA of autoblock still works. Undermine has other benefits against Ruby, but Phoenix’s heavy stun is protected against stun AAR and Phoenix has power gain to counteract suppression.
More like their lap dog… oh wait, he is exactly just that.
Got to agree - Phoenix would be a good candidate for Ascension.
