...very likely, Symbiote Spider-man.

The tags for the new saga just dropped and of those tagged champs, Symbiote Spider-man is the only one not available as a 7* and is the worst champ there by quite a margin so would require a buff.

It makes sense too since we're also getting stellar-forged Green Goblin as another chase champion that would also tie-in to Spider-Man: Brand New Day coming out in July for a spider themed saga.

What would you guys want his buff to be like? I'm also really hoping for new animations.

If that actually happened, I'd be thrilled, and curious to see what else they've created.
I created this concept buff two years ago, and I still think it would be strong and useful if it were to actually be implemented.
P.S. I changed the name of the cunning buff (my original buff) to instinct to reflect modern abilities.
P.S. These stats were designed for a 6* champion at most, so don't be alarmed if you think they're low.

Symbiote Spidey being “very likely” the Saga chase champ because he’s not a 7* seems a bit premature when our current saga chase is a champion who not only already exists as a 7* but was one of the first 7*s ever released.

Not gonna say it’s definitely not the case, and obviously I’d like it to be true, but Ascension seems to be the name of the game for the foreseeable future and it’s tough not to imagine they wouldn’t just make the chase Ascension materials for some random decent champion in the pool like Void or Scream or something. Not to mention that they just released the Thor Rags buff and they’re working on the Cable rework now, so who knows if they’d had the time to add a full rework into the workload (which Symbiote Spidey definitely needs as opposed to something like Thor Rags’ more comparatively modest buff).

They would obviously give us his ascension at the same time as being made available as a 7* even with a rework i doubt he'd be in the same category as archangel or cgr etc.

I did get that, yes. I’m more speaking to the fact that the current saga has demonstrated Kabam doesn’t have to force in a new 7* release for each chase, so I’m skeptical that Kabam wouldn’t take the easy path here and just release Ascension materials for a champ who doesn’t need a rework to not be basically a joke reward. Kabam hardly seems to be in a rush to finish releasing those 6*-locked champs anyways, whether they’re good or not.

I also heard that Lagacy has plans to help Kabam design the Symbiote Spiderman rework, if it is coming.

As long as he doesnt get random symbiote tentacles in his animations which black suit spiderman has virtually never had I'll be happy
