What exactly is this “Stars and Martyrs Exclusive Event” ticket?

It shows up in store, but the description isn’t clear to me.

The implication from the wording is that you pay to “claim Rewards from this Event”—which suggests more than a little that the ticket allows the rewards to be claimed.

The wording doesn’t say be able to “claim Rewards from this Event.”

Is it a separate and distinct Event? If not, why make the offer available after a player has obtained all the prizes from the Event?

Basically the pay $15 or whatever and you do EQ as normal. Then you get all the normal EQ rewards plus all the rewards in the event milestones. Not the best bang for buck, but not the worst either especially with mysterium now being a hugely more viable currency than it was this time yesterday.

Completing the monthly EQ will unlock the milestones, but you can’t claim them unless you purchase the ticket. They are behind a paywall.

No. You have to do EQ. It’s based around etherion, so as you pick up the Etherion from EQ, you get the relevant EQ rewards but you also get each milestone from the event. 1 etherion = milestone 1, 2 etherion = milestone 2 etc.

if you are elder you still only need to do the elder EQ because as you get the etherion from that, you automatically also get the additional etherion from classic. So I’ve done 2 chapters of elder EQ and am at milestone 8 in the event.

If you look under the EQ milestones, there are bonus rewards listed. I think it’s for those.

$15 to unlock the above event. You earn milestones based on EQ completion, unlocking everything at exploration. Spend $15 to earn some pennies worth of extra rewards for doing the same content you would've already done.

Ok. To be clear—these items are the bonus items you get for (a) buying the $15 offer and then (b) exploring EQ?

Is this seriously what $15 buys you? I’m done with Elder EQ, but I’m baffled at this wording that is anything but clear or obvious to me.

Edit: I now understand. This is a totally separate event with a percentage of the actual event’s rewards.

Exploring EQ is required to get the totally separate event milestone prizes.

This is perhaps the poorest way to describe what is going on with this offer.

@DrZola Are those BONUS items listed in the EQ really only available from purchasing that 15. Ticket ?
They are just “grouped” together in the Bonus category in the SUMMARY screen for EQ items, but looking at the individual EQ progress Milestones they appear to be just part of the standard Milestones.

I think they are just listed separately in the SUMMARY, to differentiate them from not always being the same monthly items. They can be different each month (either extra, or different champs, aka the Mojo vs prior month champ in them).

(Edit), OK, I think your own “edited” covered making the distinction ? Buying the 15. Is only for the newest Exclusive Event (under each person's Events tab). Unrelated to EQ milestone progress. (Other than one of the EQ progress milestone items is the tracker “Etherium” that is what gives you Exclusive Event progress.)

But no affect on other EQ milestones.

Yeah, I get it now, but only after purchasing the ticket to see what was going on.

Those bonus items are available to anyone who completes EQ. The special bonus items require you to buy the ticket and complete EQ. It winds up being a mini version of the prizes awarded in the regular Stars and Martyrs solo event.

The in game message gives a little better description, but I’d like to think having an actual event up and running that shows as “locked” would make this a lot clearer.

Thank you! I am somewhat relieved that there is at least some modicum of confusion here that isn’t all mine.

It doesn’t really help that the main event (not the separate, purchasable exclusive event) is titled an “exclusive event.”

What a pity .. just pay to get more items... looks like this will become a norm now, u do all content than you pay extra for extra rewards..

Paying on deals or market events is fine as its not connected with any content its outside and allows a Jumpstart to your roster.. but paying just to get extra from a content seems too greedy and is a slap on face of players who just do the content.. "hey I got this extra because I gave Kabam a bribe of 15 bucks".

Thankfully the deals in this direction have been so overwhelmingly bad that they are easy to pass on and the people that do buy them hardly gain an advantage. If anything, it is better for the whole player base for Kabam to go after money in this way than any other.

I think that would have been a more succinct and clearer way to describe it than what the team chose to do…

Something like “pay $15 to get these specific extra rewards when you complete EQ.”

I still dont agree with the concept. They can have what ever messages, but putting a pay wall on a content completion is just not helping at all. It's like rewards level 1 free for all, level 2 and above behind a paywall. That's when everyone is stressing the same to finish that particular content.

This is not all like other deals and offers.

There's no content being put behind a pay wall, and this isn't another level of rewards. It's like a 5% increase over normal rewards, but not even because it doesn't include everything. It's a dumb offer, but you're well over the top when it comes to its actual impact on the game.

There is only ONE Exclusive Event, that is in the Exclusive Sub-Tab.

There is no other MAIN event for it.

(Not talking about EQ progress quest milestones, which of course is different and no purchase needed).

One of your first pics did not tap into any specific Sub-Tab, so was showing ALL your Events, of which that Exclusive one had the Red Banner on top.

*I must say though, that I don't recall seeing the Red banner on top YESTERDAY. Or maybe it was, but when you go and click to the actual event itself, that red banner is not present (pic when it is showing you the actual Exclusive Event milestones).

What I mean is this: the entire event is named “Exclusive”—but you get one set of milestones for this exclusive event by doing the EQ. There’s literally nothing exclusive about it because anyone who does the EQ qualifies for those milestones.

However, once you pay the $15, you get an additional set of 15 milestones, all completed (if you did the EQ already, which is something the ingame message explicitly suggests)—sort of a “cherry on top” that provides another dozen or so Empowered Grace crystals, some more T5c/T6c/T4a etc.

For me, these milestones also fall under the label of “Stars and Martyrs Exclusive Event.”

Sorry, still don’t see where you see it is saying EXCLUSIVE in more than one spot.

The monthly Event Quest (EQ, QUEST) does not say Exclusive. Maybe the only thing translated to other languages that may be confusing is the wording BONUS for extra stuff included in the regular QUEST Milestones. (Those are NOT the Event (ie, Solo, Ally, Realm, Exclusive) milestones, they are the EVENT QUEST milestones.)

EXCLUSIVE is only in one spot, in your Events tab, above Solo, Ally, etc. and only has 1 set of Milestones. All locked based on purchasing the token or key.

That’s not how it worked for me. I finished Elder EQ and claimed and collected my milestones in the “Stars and Martyrs Exclusive Event”—all 15 of them.

Then today out of curiosity and after starting this thread, I bought the $15 offer to see what happened.

15 new milestone items popped up to be claimed—in the same tab for the “Stars and Martyrs Exclusive Event.” That’s what I mean by a second set of milestone rewards—call them boosted rewards or whatever term you like to use. But I claimed 15 milestone rewards in addition to the 15 I claimed yesterday.

The only thing locked behind a paywall was that second set of milestone rewards, which required $15 to unlock.

I suppose someone who buys the offer before ever doing EQ gets them all at one time? Not sure, because that wasn’t how I did it.
