Question about champion frames

I just got back into the game after about a year ago and can somone explain to me what this stuff means. There’s pink frames, sparkly background, a pink orb with a green line through it, and a bunch of twelves. I’m so lost.

oh and there’s the buff in the top right which have been there, but there’s also a buff on the left side next the relic, what’s that?

Pink frames- ascended 7 star champs

Sparkly- first appearance champs

Pink orb- indicates saga champs

12 - collective strength

Buff on the right - 7 star champs stat focus

Buff on relic - new relics with buff

thanks, how is miles morales first appearance? I’ve faced him multiple times, he’s an old champ, and some of the new champs that I had no idea even existed and definitely have never faced don’t have the sparkly like that purple guy on the top row far right

also I fought sandman in battlegrounds and he had this weird purplish pink bar above his health that kept going up and down. Did they re work him and add that? What does it do?

It's the new ability for ascended champs, similar to how 5* have the SP3 mini-game, 6* have adrenaline, and 7* have stat focus. It's a bar that fills up overtime and then gives bonus damage for a period of time after it has filled.

Champion pfp's are getting ridiculously visually noisy and cluttered. If you play every single day and watch all the livestreams, its easy not to realize this because we know what everything means right away. But if we take a step back and put ourselves in a new or casual players shoes, good lord these are overwhelming and cluttered to look at. I dont blame OP.

The this is, I used to grind the game a lot, and j had every act completed(the last one that was in the game when I played was 9.2). Then a year later I come back and there is so much more on the pfp. More changed there in one year than 10 , it’s crazy

how do you even ascend a 7*? It shows the ability to ascend 6*s right next to the rank up section when you click upgrade, but it doesn’t show that for 7*s. Is there more than one ascension level because there’s a one on the ascension icon for my 6*s insinuating that it can go higher
