Aint no fudging way that 3 weeks into the Season, theres PLENTY of Hardcore and Whale accounts in Vibranium.

Hours wasted Back N Forth, Win Lose, Lose Win.

I aint spending a dime on shields like many desperately do.

Further proves nobody takes this mode seriously anymore and the ones that will suffer the most will be F2P and Casual players.

Im Whale, I dont need this the rewards that awaits me in GC, I just wanted to finish it and get there before July 4th Sales.

Hope Towers Rise and Replace the excitement otherwise this game goes to the bin.

Yea the game mode is definitely taking a dive. The hardcore addicts will always play but it’s just too much effort and just too time consuming for most people to invest in. If you can’t spend the time grinding to figure out these complex nodes coupled with the complexity of the defenders these days, it just ends up being a frustrating experience.

Towers aren't going to replace anything once you're caught up fully you'll barely be doing a fight a week or something. They're not built to be a comp game mode which you can play daily as much as you want, you will hit the limit eventually and then you have to wait until your account gets bigger to continue playing.

This idiot keeps yapping about Towers this Towers that and doesn't realize that by design Towers are not a replacement for anything BGs offered. Once you hit your limit you're not gonna be playing the mode more than once a week and nobody's going to be spending any currency specifically to climb up higher in towers lol.

Because they keep coming up with these painful metas to couple with Champs that have grown past everyone being in the VT every Season. Of course that's just my opinion. Lol.

It's not even Kabam I fault, in the sense that I think it's intentional. I just think the system has changed and the old model is miserable for a larger and larger number each Season.

Yes, the metas need work and we all know about toxic defenders. But you can bring people back to the mode by eliminating pain and making it worth trying.

We don’t need “let’s forget health matters” gimmicks. You need more summoners to return to the mode for reasons that have staying power.

Exactly, unless you have a whale roster of of multiple r4s and r5s (ascended ones at that), eventually you’re gonna get hard stuck and you’re not gonna be able to continue.

Kabam **** it up long time ago. No ally rewards upgrade for like 2-3 years? All rewards below gc is a **** trash. If they want guys with no end game content accounts to play just give good rewards in every milestone. 1500 relic shards rewards isn’t good but kabam still think it’s great. No one will play that **** content when rewards wasnt upgrade for 3 years!

Honestly, even with a whale roster (I have 62 r4s and 6 r5s about to be 7 soon) and active spending you will get stuck because it’s not like those sales pop up every week so even with a massive roster the most you will get is a fight a week unless you truly are spending on every single sale and offer that pops up and you go all in but at that point you ain’t no regular whale anymore. The idea that this game mode is replacing BGs completely is absolutely hilarious, swiss cheese is just yapping.

Constantly finishing in Mysterium 3 ~ Quantum 3 (Im not competitive due to me working in Healthcare Hospital).

Last 2-3 season I struggle and end either bottom GC or not pushing even at all like currently am.

Im in Masters Alliance as well, nothing related here to Skill.

Its pure Trash Metas and outdated rewards...

I'm not trying to bash on you, really I'm not. But something seems off here. I agree the meta's a pain, and the rewards suck. I also understand working getting in the way of grinding. I will also agree this season seems harder than usual, probably because the only people playing BGs are the same exact people who play nothing but BGs.

However, you're saying this isn't a skill issue while hyping your past rankings, your master alliance, rating, prestige and amount of r5s. GC is entirely obtainable given your accolades. Considering I've made it to GC, with very little participation, with MUCH less rating, lower prestige (i like to think i rank up fun champs over strictly meta champs), and less overall r5s, this entirely seems like a skill issue.

Unless you have a 40k prestige of mostly underrated/non meta champs, and your masters alliance doesn't mind at all about those niche rank ups… I'm just going to assume it is in fact a skill issue (still agreeing this bg's is in a really bad spot though), or that you're lying.

I love BGs, but the mode has become stupidly difficult. I get to glad circuit, then I try for the 100 points then park. But that can take absolutely hours, and I think that's the problem with bgs. You can play hours and not progress, infact, you can go backwards, no one wants that or likes that, especially if the reason you lose is because you face accounts with 2 rows of r5s double ascenders (not even a joke).

The points need changing, its around 16 points for a win, -15 points for a loss. Just make the loss-1 point. Those who are competitive will still be where they are on the leaderboard, and those who can't climb any further won't, but they won't be going backwards...

Towers doesn’t replace BGs but what it does replace is the need to do BGs to get radiance. This is pretty critical to why BGs has dropped off a cliff. If you can get decent radiance rewards elsewhere without the hell of doing BGs why would you.

This, all day. Opportunities for technical, high-end game play are rapidly disappearing outside of AW. Hardly any questing content at all, and what we do get is retreads from past fights that Kabam is just using over again. The idea that coliseum or towers replace high-engagement content or are some kind of step forward is a joke. It’s just collecting and ranking so you can do an occasional fight slightly better / faster so you can then collect and rank some more. Look at the creators’ recent output. Aside from explaining (or complaining about) the basic structure of Towers, there’s literally nothing to discuss or make videos about. Once everyone is sitting at levels 80-90 and then waiting weeks to pull a new ascended champ, this mode will be an afterthought except the monthly radiance payout.

The original draw of this game was collecting + fighting. Feels like the new equation is just collecting only.

There is a clear difference of opinion as to why BG's is failing. F2P/Casual players say it's because it's too difficult facing big accounts and progressing. Advanced accounts say it's because the rewards are awful and the grind is too much.

Bumping the rewards wouldn't move the needle for the F2P/Casual community and Kabam will not remove the grind if they increase the rewards, so it doesn't solve the issues for the top end players either. We can't overlook the deck size issue with more and more high rank up options.

Class Towers are nothing more than a playable version of Collectives and, like others have said, once you reach your ceiling, the mode will collect dust until you rank up a champ to clear a floor. Maybe their thought is Challenge Towers will be fun version. At least there are some interesting things they can do with those, but we'll have to see where they go with that.
