Big Problem with this game and why lots will quit before Mid-Year

So, here's the issue. Right now, we all know the best prizes are in Alliance Wars and probably for the updated Alliance Quest.

I don't think Kabam has done any thought into this issue, but here goes:

We all know prestige means everything in AQ and I'm sure the prizes will be changed in the next couple of months. Prestige is obviously gained with the higher ranked champs.

Now that we have T5 in the mix, the only real way to get it is winning Alliance Wars. This essentially means, the people who pilot their alliance. And, I know many that do will essentially win Alliance Wars all the time. With this in mind, they can rank 2 R5 5* after the season is over or multiple seasons which would give them an advantage in the prestige area of AQ. Doesn't this essentially mean, the winners of AW will also be the winners of AQ because of prestige?

Not sure if Kabam thought of these things and I know they really don't based on past experience...but what can really be done about Alliance War pilots?

Lmao really? This has been happening for a long time already. MMX wins AQ and war. They are so far ahead of everyone that it would take years for the average person to catch up. It won’t chamge anything and it won’t cause many people to quit

If you play just to get better rewards than everyone else, then maybe that's not a good approach.

I play to punch, kick, bleed, combo the **** out of my opponents.

Kabam will introduce ways to obtain t5 like they always do. The best players always get them first, this game is always about slow progression. Nothing new

It's called Contest of Champions for a reason. It's a competition. Meaning in order to get the best Resources, you have to win. I agree that Account Sharing is a problem, and it's against TOS. That's a separate issue. That doesn't change the fact that the game is a contest. Eventually Resources will be made more available. However, if people want to quit because they're not winning, that's up to them. A bit tantrum-like if you ask me.

Ha, act 5. WHOLE t5s are there. Many have already maxed out 5* champs. You don't have to compete in war. Oh and uncollected story quest.

That's not what we were talking about at all. Defender Kills is a different topic than having Resources added that must be earned like anything else in the game. What I said was that Defender Kills are not necessary for an element of skill. I was right. Nice try, though.

hahahahahahahahahahahha........sorry, but I lose it every time that people predict that tons of people are going to quit this game. These threads have always popped up over the years...and despite that, this game keeps showing up on top revenue earners. I am not even debating the new AW rewards....this game has survived far more drastic changes than AW seasons.

I do agree that it would be cool to introduce some competition (besides just arena) where individuals can compete. I agree a lot of rewards are skewed towards alliances. Maybe make bases individual bases, rather than alliance based?

lol that you think bases are still on the table. Kabam scraped that idea years ago
