Star lord bugged in aq?

So I went in to aq with my 5/50 Star lord and I fought a red hulk with around 35k health and only my crits were doing normal damage while the normal hits were doing like 90-150 damage per hit.

Is this just normal?

    Ah thank you I don't have red hulk and in that fight I was just like wtf is going on hahah
