War Rating Drop and Tier Drop False Leaderboard

Hello Kabam-
Please review and explain why we won our last war and added to our war rating woke up today and rating dropped 150 points

Then we are placed in a platinum tier with a 3.8m score but then display ranked in the gold tier at 245 with a 2.25mil season score

This is a detrimental issue and need and needs to be addressed, tickets filed no response

I agree with them stripping season points for any wars where there was a cheater within an alliance. However, it looks like the leaders of those alliances are being left in bit of a lurch as the privacy policy prevents Kabam from telling the alliance leader WHO did said cheating.

Given that, I think these point deductions need to be concurrent with whatever ban is issued to the caught cheater. That way at least the alliance leader will be able to see who isn't logging in anymore and take appropriate action to protect his/her alliance from further issues.

I’m not gonna repost it here but that’s what happened. Hopefully this sends a signal to other alliances doing the same thing in the top 50 cause we are there and they aren’t the only ones doing it

I’m an officer in the alliance in the screenshot and none of us posted screenshots to kabam. I did feel it was weird that our def got 100kills last time we played them but this time they had under 40. What’s sad is they probably would have won without the cheating too.

We don’t know how they got caught but seems kabam is moving in the right direction. I hope they crack down on all allis that pilot.

As the leader here my intention was not to foster accusations or allegations against us, it was to create transparency about a situation we were hit with without notification or data... for the record, our team has improved significantly in being more focused on not dying in war bec now that matters so it’s not about pilots or hacks but stronger use of boosts and champs...

Translation: we got caught with our pants down. We are taking the punishment and will try to do a better job gaming the system moving forward.

If alliances are getting docked for piloting in War, that is great news. It shouldn't be allowed.

I'd like to know more about this since a later reply denies this happened. Agree with what you're saying, but so much he said/she said is going on

If there is a breakage in the TOS, i should be informed specifically the 5 W’s so I can rectify and move forward

I don't think Kabam has to be straight forward with punishments. They made a post in News and Announcements to follow the rules or there will be penalties. If you aren't cheating then you don't have to worry about it. If you are....well you are in violation of the TOS. I welcome the disciplinary action!

This is funny to me that you think an ally that cheats has near 40 deaths. There are other alliances that have less than 10 deaths on the map which I’m assuming there may be some foul play sitting at the top of the leaderboard. But kabam took no action on them when it was obvious they pilot so it has to be some individual in the ally modded base on kabams third party software announcement. The biggest issue is kabam would take an individual offense out on a whole alliance without letting the leader know who or banning the individual as well. Piloting seems to be ok with kabam since I made a separate post against it over a week ago with no reply from them and I’m in the alliance that lost points so obviously we don’t pilot.

If this is disciplinary action for piloting I’m all for it. Hopefully it knocks some sense into everyone knowing that kabam is serious.

I'm not saying 40 deaths is cheating. I"m saying they went from 100 to 40 with the same roster in a short amount of time.

We should stop this discussion now, I’m not going to reveal war scores diversity numbers etc but the first war was a blood bath when nothing counted other than finishing the map and we won both straight up

The point of this post was to see if our display errors were UI bugs or something else and it seems it’s a violation

Kabam won’t discuss that here at all which is fine but it seems they have Spoken

As someone said earlier, not they an infraction vs my entire team was made, in private I deserve to know the 5 W’s so I can Rectify the situation and move forward

They bungled it, everytime they change something or add something new they overly complicate things and screw it up badly which seems to be the case so far.

Even if alliances don't have wars at the sametime the alliance with more points should stay where they were instead of dropping

As for the whole cheating thing there's a big double standard going on in favor of alliances with huge whales and the fact they will not come down to harshly on them as opposed to ones that don't spend a lot.

We faced a blantany cheating alliance with numerous members cheating which caused us to lose.

They let one of the main cheaters continue for another which they win as well until they finally banned the cheaters but left their war rating intact which freaking sucks but it is what it is.

Kabam admitted what the other alliance did was impossibile but did nothing much to rectify it and nothing much in punishment besides ban some of the cheaters.

You want to crack down on cheaters good but make sure you actually enforce it for every alliance and be fair and provide explantations for the punishments.

To anyone that cares- the culprit has been found. The member has been immediately kicked from the team as we would never tolerate something like this. The ex-member informed us that he allowed someone else to play for him and was unaware that person used an illegal mod for the game and now they are banned

STK4C has invested too much time money and energy into MCOC to allow or foster cheating and so Kabam has responded and now we are freed of a person who hurt our team

Just goes to show kabam at least enforces policies and pushes out cheaters which we agree with
