I would say 7500 or 8000 but then again they have been giving more ways to get 5 star shards.

Good luck with that. This is laughable. U do know that the 5* arena gives 2k shards just for the top 10%. People would be getting 2 5* a week.

Should stay the same, but increase 5 star shard rewards throughout the game.

They don't change shard costs because someone that's hoarded shards would be unfairly rewarded. What they do instead is increase the availability of then which they have done. We get 500 free shards daily just for doing the Modok lab currently.
