It happened with us as well, last AW we fought with an 9.7mill. Alliance and we are 4.2 million alliance. I am going to raise a ticket to support.

The base rating has nothing really to do with the Wars, its the WAR rating that you have to look at. And yes, a 2700 shouldn't be fighting a 1500. that is for sure! But it could also be a new alliance just passing thru the ranks .

I think he meant war rating as prestige. and a new Ally can't have war rating of 2k+.
