But how are you so sure that the difficulty has gotten worse?
Granted, Bleed and Poison champions may not be as effective in Alliance Quests as they were before, but Sentinels melt at the power of a Armor Break Champion, and a lot of the new Mini-Bosses have very common counters!
You know there's Sentinels on the Bleed and Poison paths, right? Do you have any champions who Armor Break AND are Bleed or Poison Immune?

This is just a shameless cash grab. This is significantly harder without an increase in rewards. Don't even try to rationalize this, Mike, no one is going to believe this was meant for any reason other than to increase the difficulty and gouge more cash from us.
So, you are making it more difficult yet not adjusting anything like rewards or even glory? Can I ask why? How does this benefit the players?
As we said in that post, we are working on a full refresh. We are not at a place or time where we can increase the rewards or fully refresh the mode right now.
It’s not a “small” change though...Sentinels are far more difficult to fight against, and since they don’t bleed or can’t be poisoned it’s even more difficult.
Not to mention, Morningstar, Void, Goblin and Nightcrawler are way tougher to fight against then what’s there now.
420sam is 100% right in asking for more rewards. Why make the content harder that 100% will require more resources to beat, but not even meet the players half way on the rewards?
I think 95% of the players would rather you leave everything unchanged if there’s no added benefit. Don’t believe me? Poll the question in that exact honest way, and see if the players would rather wait til the next season to get the refresh or play tougher map with no extra benefits

Rewards will probably be changed, hopefully increased with the increase in miniboss difficulty and Sentinels replacing Symbiods. No announcement doesn't mean that the new AQ Season will have the same rewards. It would be legit if we got new maps too.
This is total bs replacing the syms with sentinels! You just screwed over so many of your player base. I know my entire aq team is now garbage with the bleed and poison immunity.
Why not coincide these change with the end of this AW season. These new additions will effect people’s champs for both AW & AQ. Especially since they will fall within a few days of each other.

Let's think of reverse situation. Buff the rewards 1st as the community has been longing since like few months and then introduce whatever full changes you want. And by that keeping the community happy for once? You say how do we know difficulty has been increased? Taking away reliance on bleed and poison inflicting damage over time champs and needing bleed immune champs absolutely, isn't that an increase in difficult already? You just made Wolverine, one of the best champ literally useless. Already he's not available as 5 star, now no 1 would like to have him as 4 star too. Requiring specific champs for aq is not cool. It has to be decided by us and not by the game.

You sure will find some of them. They exist. But I think the point is you're gonna need some specific champs to successfully play in AQ. I don't think that's fair. Just because this game is based on your luck when pulling champs you can' make something like AQ champ specific. Some higher level material like LOL or Act 5 is fine. Either you're ready or not. But AQ is for everyone and is a most to progress and get you're 5/50 champs. Not an endgame content. So IMO is not really thought out.

Well of course they'll change up the difficulty without updating the rewards; how else can they hope to milk players for more money.
This should've been saved for an entirely new season of AQ when you were ready to have updated rewards. If it's such a chore to balance that, don't put the more annoying part of the deal out first and hope the community would roll over and show their bellies.
