**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.
There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.

Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

AW piloting

The way you can tell if an alliance pilots is simple-they're in master :)

The reason this has occurred is simple-the reward bracket is too narrow. Piloting will continue to make the game less fun and choke it off. Has anyone considered making the master tier larger to reduce the amount of piloting? That's the only solution I have.

Could you explain the concept of piloting to me because I am not exactly sure what that means

Yeah, I thought they were going to fix AQ rewards. They're terrible. Good point. If AQ mattered more AW would matter less. An AQ focused alliance is a disaster right now since the rewards are so bad.

Oh you're so clever. I believe your post is against the terms here since you're trying to call me out. I'll flag it.

    LOLLLL
So, You're dismissing possibility that all alliances that are in master tire and alliance members of those alliances are skill based. smh

and let's say all those alliances are piloting .. your solution is to make master tier larger? That wouldn't fix anything, that would only allow more people to pilot since they now have better change as getting in master tier. Atleast right now (if your hypothetical theory is some how correct) lower alliances has given up hopes of getting in master tier.

So you're not in master tier? What tier are you in?

SMH, these post are just as bad as the silly pre 12.9 Scarlet Witch or Blade polls.

They just closed a thread about this

You go to fly that flag. What I said is in no way calling you out, it's was a question. I don't understand how you can say all people in master pilot when you yourself are in master bracket, hence my question are you admitting to piloting

    @Taserface597

When they lose a war, they start whinning about every thing. Everyday one of these threads pops up. I doubt if there is any validity to half of them
  • Either you've seen it and you know, or you regularly talk with the top tiers and you know, or you are in lower tiers and blissfully unaware. And well, there's the pilot alliance members that come here and try to kill these threads as well... Cant leave them out. Not a knock on anyone, just seems to be the way of it.

There's no getting around the plain and simple fact that piloting is a constant in many to most top war alliances. Kudos to the pilots that can manage only a couple of deaths in a full bg. That's impressive as hell. And lol @ the players that are letting others take the wheel. I'll never understand that side of it, but people do all kinds of weird stuff for digital rewards.
  • To say it isn't a huge problem and rampant in the top alliances is either real or feigned ignorance tho. No way around that.

Ya. Basically, people want rewards they didn't earn. As a former member of a top tier alliance, I can guarantee you there is so much piloting going around up there it's crazy and stupid. And you are right, those guys will do anything for digital rewards. It's a joke.

    Whats piloting again?
  • rwhackrwhack Posts: 1,047 ★★★
I guess it would be too easy to think this through:

    1. Expand master bracket to 40 or 50. Piloting goes away except for top
    2. A tiebreaker gets determined by who finishes all 3 bosses first instead of a double loss

It’s when a better player say me (not you) logs in for everyone else to win an AW.
