I auctally agree, this just pushes a greed of money. I fully would get if it was a high end team revive, but it's just a small single revive.

The balls of the comment below is ridiculous. If you don't want players to explore and use EVERY aspect of the game, don't put it in there. I'm really disappointed that they would even say something like this and honestly not surprised.

Are you serious Kabam Mike? Did you really say we have decided to not take action against players for taking advantage of this. Every Kabam game is based on farming items to further your account, that is what that was, farming. How are we as a community supposed to know what is acceptable and what is not. How is it taking advantage of anything when the game allows you to do it? I would strongly suggest retracting that statement because it literally just felt like you were spitting in the face of people who actually play. I did not even participate that much, I do know ones that did and it makes absolutely no sense not to if you need that item. So should i not farm t3cc to get t4cc? It still cost energy to get the revive. So what, you took it down, you could have played it as a gift to the community that was temporary instead you turned it into something that makes you guys look incapable. Retract that statement Mike, apologize and move forward. Ridiculous.

I play many games, and at no point have I ever seen a company even imply they considered taking action against players for farming resources legitmately.

Would you like to remove T3 pots from RoL too seeinng as that’s literally the exact same thing? Terrible excuse

Did they just fixed something that is good for players in a day but still couldn't fix a months old "known issues and bugs"??? We used that revives bc of all bugs anyway! And excuse that revives are there to help new players...so only new players can play act1 over and over again and take as much revives as they want or i just didn't understood good?

Well ... it was obvious that it was something that it would be removed as soon as possible ...
But I agree that there should be a way to get revives by defeating some enemies. Previously, players were able to farm revives from RoL enemies. It would be cool if they added the revives in LoL enemies this time, even if it wasn't a 100% chance to get one

Never farmed for them either. But any other game Farming for resources is the name of the game when your on a free to play game. Now it seem like that only way to get anything f will be by using your units or spending money to get units just to get what you need. Might as well just take out all potions and revives from quest and leave them in the store to purchase.

Ohh wait that’s happening already. Giving less and less. Even when it’s your fault you can’t even compensate properly for it. Just cause it affected everybody doesnt mean it didn’t effect everybody in a certain way. People are in war, quest, aq. Just a slap in the face and you say deal with it.

The closest thing to a "bug" that could be legitimized in all of this is the fact that it was a 100% proc rate, meaning we could get one every time we ran that path. Easiest "fix" to that would be to make it a random proc like all of the other items in these quests (iso, energy refills, pots, etc).

I agree that it's quite disappointing that Kabam took the stance they did and then Miike had the balls to imply there was some sort of exploit that we could be punished for doing. We are encouraged to explore all aspects of this game to build our accounts, but while doing said exploration discover something that could help us down the track we are somehow "exploiting the system"? Every other game I've played has had one area or another that was used for resource farming. They were usually slow grinds, but were there for those who were willing to make said grind.

This statement was not appreciated and I don't think i will be spending any more on this game now.

i am more annoyed with them than anything else, I was collecting revives for LOL runs and would most likely buy units when I ran out of revives but forget that now.

Guess i'll save units from the arena, hopefully that isn't also considered something that could be actionable

My alliance member JUST told us this yesterday. Now it's friggen removed? Kabam is the greediest and stingiest company I've ever met. They're worse than Comcast.

Because of THEIR maintenance issue, i was glitched/bugged/locked out of Blade arena. I lost out on:

Rewards I missed out on:

Milestone:
90 units
9000 Battle chips (not including the ones from grinding)
9600 PHC shards
3 arena boosts
$15,000 gold

Ranked:
500 4* shards 200 5* shards

They told me they won't be reimbursing me. Took 4 tickets and me demanding a manager to get that. THEIR Problem yet I can'T get my rewards. They're pathetic.

Actually, it wasn’t a 100% Proc rate. Players who went in and grabbed the revive without completing the quest didn’t see the revive there when they went back.

Auctally he does. If they want to remove the revives because people were able to farm them, we now have to consider if they would take a action on people who farm arena for units or gold. It is a abusable source of resources going by them.

How is it an unfair advantage? Still cost to get the refills plus newer players don’t need revives. You give us game modes that don’t offer units for completion and give out dated rewards for events. Did Marvel or Disney hit you guys up and say you needed to increase profit? This is just ridiculous. FTP should be FTP if one chooses. A 20% revive is not an unfair advantage, thats basically a combo from any enemy in the game where you would need a revive. I am truely disappointed that this cost efficent grind has been removed.

We should have a way to grind for items to help us complete your events.

Exactly, how are we as a playerbase supposed to know what is or isn’t acceptable. Kabam programmer that revive to be there, but because people got a lot of revives it’s potentially an exploit. How far does this go?

Honestly with IMIW being so moneygrabbing, the server outages with no explanation or compensation, the general dictatorship vibe this forum has and now this, where kabam seems like a parent scolding naughty children for eating the cookies that they placed in front of us. My opinion of kabam hasn’t been this low since 12.0.

Miike, answer this for me, if we (advanced players) were never intended to return to act 1 once explored, then why have it as an option to return?
Better yet, why release a solo event which encourages us to return to easy portions of the game (Vanquishing blows) I don’t mind that you ruined our farming, but don’t imply you considered punishment for it, we aren’t dumb, if you add a permanently respawning revive, at some point a player will discover it and share with friends, and it’ll eventually get out to the majority of the community.
Your fault, not the players, consider punishing the person who thought it was a good idea.

Let me lead with this:
I understand being the forum moderators your job is to simply communicate what the dev team has stated, and I do not hold you accountable or even have hostility towards you for these decisions. I think I along with most of the player base understand that; however, your syntax has brought upon us a larger question:
Are higher level players not supposed to go to lower level missions to grind items?
I simply ask because this seems comparable to going to ROL to beat Winter Soldier multiple times in order to get potions. While I was unaware of what is now being called a bug, I was on the forums frequently and didn't see any discussion warning players to not exploit said bug, so there was a lack of information that this was an unintended error. I am not criticizing the post but, as a customer, asking a legitimate question about the terms and use of a product. I, like most of the community, would appreciate your time to communicate the Dev teams point of view on this matter of lower level grinding.
