Parry, dexterity are your best friends. Suicides are a waste and practice evading specials.

Listening to "Eye of the Tiger" will not make your game play better. However listening to Deadmau5's "Ghost and Stuff" will help you complete Chapter 5.1.

For example, an arena grinder will play the game differently than someone who just wants to play AQ, etc.

Ask questions for help, I know it's hard to believe since a lot of people on here claim to mow through all content without taking damage or using any items ever, and that can be intimidating but just ask, some will help.

And take advice from people who have experience in the advice they are giving, you dont ask the plumber how to invest do you?

I think it is helpful if you have a short term goal and a long term goal. You should set some near term thing you want to accomplish or get good at, and work on that. It should be an achievable goal in a reasonable amount of time. And you should have that far off goal you are working towards, that the short term goals can be stepping stones towards. It is a good way to build up your skills in the game to work on a specific skill or tactic like evade or parry, or on defeating a particular opponent like RoL Winter Soldier without potions. The long term goal can be a way to pace yourself and measure your progress in the game, like doing a full explore of Act 4, say.

Arenas and alliance quests are the top priority. If you're completely new, focus on acheiving 250k points every time in the summoner trials arena. That means focus on building a decent roster of maxed 2* champs. From there you move on to 3* champs and trying to acheive 640k points in the 3* arena. So on and so forth. There are no quick shortcuts in this game unless you want to spend thousands of dollars...and even after spending all that money, you're still not where you want to be. Outside of this learn to parry, evade, bait, and intercept...in that order.
