New forums, new Character Wishlist thread

Just as a reminder, our rules:

Character requests are still a very frequent topic of conversation within our community, and with good reason - there are a ton of amazing Marvel characters in their universe.

The old Character wish list thread was ballooning a bit, and several characters requested in that thread have since been added to The Contest. We're starting up a new thread to house these discussions so that they can continue, but in a more up to date manner.

A few FAQ's:

1) Why haven't you added (X character) yet?!

A: there are so many characters we want to add, but simply haven't gotten to yet. A character's lack of presence in the Contest currently does not necessarily mean that we've overlooked them or that we don't already have them on our radar. Our teams have a finite amount of time in order to produce content, and we'd love to bang characters out quicker - but still need to maintain realistic developer cadences.

2) We need more female characters and more diversity.

A: Our own team is quite diverse itself, and we agree that representation is an important concern!

3) Why do you bother adding (X re-skinned character) when you've not even had a chance to add (x character not in The Contest)?

A: While some people are not a fan of character re-skins, MANY of our players are. The Marvel universe is one with a lengthy lore, and almost every beloved character has gone through some sort of costume change or shift at some point in their super-powered careers. These differences offer a good opportunity to re-introduce players to content they may not have managed to obtain the first time around, and allowing new players to pick up a certain champion while still keeping things a bit fresh. Our goal is to have a healthy balance between release types.

4) Can you confirm if a requested character is going to be released?

A: The short answer is no. We have specific timelines regarding when we can announce content, and that means that we can't pop in to say 'hey, that person is coming!'. For those wanting to keep on top of our latest announcements or teases, following our Twitter and Facebook accounts are your best shot. We also have an Instagram account that you should follow. So go forth, and suggest! We're not going to individually reply to the comments and suggestions that we see, but we are reading everything.

This should go without saying, but please discuss the characters you'd like to see without insulting each other or trying to discredit someone's opinion. Friendly debate is welcome, but the emphasis here is 'friendly' ; )

Ace in the hole- bullseye delivers a flurry of cards straight at the target, finishing with a hidden ace of spades. Causes bleed or armor break for a non bleed foe.
Devastator- with a superhuman accurate throw, bullseye strikes with shruikens that seek out the target. Unlockable. Causes weakness.
Never miss- bullseye displays his ability and the enemy ceases to exist. The grenades cause bleed, the knives cause weakness, the spikes cause heal block, and the electric disc causes stun.

Tombstone. Robbie Robertson old friend turned mob hit man/ mob boss. Gained enhanced strength and toughened skin after being dropped in a vat of experimental chemicals. (Marvel’s rip on the quasi-Joker origin in Killing Joke).

I know that many people are probably getting tired of these requests but i think that an Iron Spider needs to be added into the game and i also believe that Toxin should be added into the game as a cosmic like Carnage and Venom because Toxin is the offspring of Carnage and if you need more info click the link below

What about older characters like Namor and the Young Allies like Angelica Jones AKA Firestar, and then characters like Black Cat, and i think if they re skinned vision to the version that he kinda looks like a human in Infinity Wars

Simple easy buff for Colossus how about he gains armor UPS permanently every 10 seconds or five sencinds with his signature ability with a Max of 10 and the armor UPS should be the best in the game I mean his skin is metal and if he does a heavy attack he can transfer one of his armor ups to the opponent as an armor break that last 25 seconds. With a max of 10. But if he uses his sp 3 he can transfer all armor ups he has to the opponent at that time as permanent armor breaks but loses all the armor ups he has because they have been transfered as armor breaks. And he is bleed immune poison is passed on through blood if he cannot bleed he should not be able to be poisoned. And if he is not awakened the armor ups that he gains or armor UPS he transfers are not permanent. Super simple!

If you want to go off the comics Hulk does not get stronger the weaker he gets as in the more damage he takes and close to death he does not get stronger it goes with how long the fight goes on so basically I think Hulk should get a signature ability buff saying that the longer the fight goes on his attack and defense damage goes up 1% for every 10 seconds that the fight goes on that would be exactly like he's supposed to react in the comic books!

I would love to see Death Seed Sentry, he could be a god tier champion. Also, I know cable is a good champion, but I would love to see cable in Deadpool 2 attire. As well as new attacks. New specials as well. Omega red would be cool too.

1) Iron Spider (Infinity War)
Spider-Man has many great suits. In 2017's "Spider-Man: Homecoming", Peter is shown the Iron Spider suit, but rejects it. In 2018's "Avengers: Infinity War", he uses the suit in action to take down Ebony Maw and Thanos. This is a major upgrade from the suit he received in 2016's "Captain America: Civil War", so this champion would have to be Tech.
Unique Abilities:
Resilience:
When at 50%, Iron Spider receives 4 Armor Up charges and 2 Fury charges (for 7 seconds), and has a 35% chance to evade any attack.
Tactical Thinking:
After activating specials 2 or 3, Iron Spider makes sure to keep his guard up, not get cocky and cannot take any damage for 2 seconds. He will also gain True Strike for 6 seconds.
Awakened Ability:
Specialist:
(1) At the beginning of the match, Iron Spider has Unstoppable for 1 second, allowing him to get the first hit. If inflicted by Armor Break, he will shrug 1 charge off. If struck by a combo of 15 or more, Iron Spider will regenerate 2% every second for 4 seconds. Has a 1% chance to get 1 Lucky charge and deal Bleed (for 2 seconds) every time he strikes.
(99) At the beginning of the match, Iron Spider has Unstoppable for 5 seconds, allowing him to get the first couple of hits. If inflicted with Armor Break, he will shrug 3 charges off. If struck by a combo of 15 or more, Iron Spider will regenerate 6% every second for 5 seconds. Has a 4% chance to get 1 Lucky charge and deal Bleed (for 5 seconds) every time he strikes.
(200) At the beginning of the match, Iron Spider has Unstoppable for 17 second, allowing him to get the first several of hits. If inflicted with Armor Break, he will shrug 6 charges off. If struck by a combo of 15 or more, Iron Spider will regenerate 10% every second for 6 seconds. Has a 9% chance to get 2 Lucky charges and deal Bleed (for 6 seconds) every time he strikes.
Other status effects:
5% chance to Armor Up when struck; 20% chance to gain Fury if his attack is intercepted; 15% for all attacks to inflict Degeneration, dealing 205.5 damage for 3 seconds.
Other notes:
Immune to Poison, Shock, and Solar Radiation. Aftershock does 1.5% more damage.

Avengers: Captain America (Infinity War), Black Widow, Hulk (Ragnarok), Thor (Ragnarok), Iron Man (Infinity War), Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch, Vision (Age of Ultron)

Undying Loyalty: Iron Man, Super. Iron Man, Iron Man (Infinity War)
Iron Spider: Inflicts Heal Block and Bleed (for 3 seconds each charge) after striking an opponent under 40%. Chances to deal this are 100% the first hit. 20% the second hit. and any other time is 5%.
Others: Gains 3 Armor Up charges at the start of the battle for 10 seconds.

Here's my build for Kratos in Marvel Contest of Champions. Ingame name: Fayzematic.

Signature Abiliy: Spartan Rage
Kratos unleashes his spartan rage upon gaining 5 fury buffs and his attacks become unblockable for 5 seconds. Increase seconds based on signature level. (max 10 seconds) After using his spartan rage it has a cooldown of 20 seconds before it can be used again. Decrease seconds based on signature level (min 10 seconds).

Abilities:

     Fury: Kratos can gain fury buffs from parrying the opponent, knocking the opponent down, or taking damage
Fury buffs last (start at 5 secs) increase based on signature level. (max 15 secs)

    Shifting Might: Every 15 secs into the fight Kratos has an 80% chance to change weapons based on current combo count. Even: Leviathan axe/Odd: Blades of chaos

Leviathan axe: a powerful weapon with frost Abilites; With it Kratos's attacks have an 18% chance to cause bleed when fury is active, dealing 30% of his base attack over 3 seconds. (Bleed debuffs can stack)
Every 6 attacks the leviathan axe has a 50% chance to gain a frost charge. Kratos must gain 3 frost charges for his axe to become frosted lasting 12 seconds. When the leviathan is frosted axe attacks have a 50% chance to coldsnap the enemy for 5 seconds . (Coldsnap does not stack/only refreshes) During coldsnap, Kratos has 66% chance to put an ice charge on the enemy. Ice charges do not count as debuffs, and deal 80% of total damage as energy damage.    (ice charges can stack)

   Blades of Chaos: devastating weapons from Kratos's past, his spartan rage burns within these blades. With the Blades of Chaos; Kratos has 10% chance to gain fury buffs on light attacks. Kratos has a 20% chance per fury buff to ignite his blades and deal incinerate damage on his critical attacks. All attacks have a 33% chance to apply incinerate debuffs while blades of chaos are ignited; lasting 5 seconds dealing 25% of his base attack. (incinerate debuffs stack)

Heavy Attack:
Kratos throws a mighty uppercut followed by a fierce downward slash with his axe. Heavy attacks will detonate all ice charges and incinerate debuffs dealing extra damage. Also refreshes leviathan frosted, or ignited blades of chaos.

Synergies:
Loki: "oddly familiar"
Kratos only needs 2 frost charges for his axe to be frosted. Kratos can ignite his blades without a fury buff.
Loki: while the opponent is under curse effects, loki gains life transfer(w/o degen). Curse effects last twice as long.
Hulk: "Rage Heads"
Kratos gains 2 fury buffs instead of 1, if he parries the enemy.
Hulk: has a 50% chance to gain hulk smash each time he loses 25% of health. Hulk's fury buffs last 5 seconds longer.
Thor: "Tempting Rivals"
Kratos can gain a frost charge every 4 hits instead of 6, Kratos 2nd special attack becomes unblockable.
Thor has a 33% chance to apply shock debuffs to the opponent on medium attacks. Thor's 2nd special attack is unblockable.
